I've had a storage unit here for approximately 5 years now, and am very pleased with my overall experience. First of all, the customer service is fantastic. I had a small issue earlier today, and as soon as I expressed concern, it was handled immediately, and efficiently. Raylene went out of her way to contact me after our initial conversation, to make sure all my questions were answered and I was taken care of. The location is clean and organized, and I know the items I have stored here are safe at all times. The candy bowl in the front office is an added bonus as well! My experience with Jamacha Point Self Storage was great ! I needed a place to move my mom's stuff and this choice was perfect. The customer service was top quality, the facility was clean, well lit and secure. If you are continually looking around just stop and be glad if they have a unit available for you. Usually there is some type of move in discount. They have good quality carts available if you need the elevator to your unit so no worries with an upstairs unit. If I could give them 6 stars I would!! Nothing worse than moving out in a time crunch, I was off work at 3 o'clock and my packing didn't finish until almost 6. I called jamacha self storage and they stayed open an extra hour just so I could move in that day!!! Steve is so very amazing and was so helpful, I wish they did apartment rentals :) lol. Let's just say they made my terrible situation so much easier for me and that's the kind of customer service that deserves a loyal clientele. My family has used this place for yeeeeeeaaaaaaaars. This place knows how to retain business by offering great customer service and great rates. If you are looking for great storage and reasonable prices then look no further. The best part about this place is that it isn't cramped and offers enough space to move anything in and out without having to worry about others in your way. I never needed to move the car or truck so someone can move by... I never was bothered by filth or dirty facilties ( just spiders =/ )... and I have never had a negative interaction with staff over the course of about 8 years. Great business. read more

Today I started a lease with this company. Looking at the reviews, I was thrilled I found a place that is so well-priced with so many good reviews. However, my customer service experience with the company thus far has been underwhelming. To reserve my unit, I called back in early April where I was told on the phone the manager would reach out to me within a week to confirm, and when I hadn't heard anything I called to make sure everything was okay. The man on the phone was short, and talked me as though I made up the idea that someone would call, and he just told me that my price was secured and everything was fine. I did get a call two weeks later, and the woman on the phone was very nice when she confirmed my unit. However, today was the worst experience by far. I came into the office and was greeted by the only on-duty worker. He informed me that he was new, and to bare with him because his manager was off-site. An hour later, we still had yet to do the paperwork because he did not know how to set up the lease online and messed mine up in the process. This was not his fault, as he was new and the only one on site, however you shouldn't place a new employee by themselves unless you've trained them on everything. He messed up my online lease and tried calling everyone he could, and the entire time was saying "sorry I f*cked up" over and over. At first it was fine, but the profanity felt increasingly unprofessional as he tried to fix the problem. Eventually he figured it out, and assured me once his boss was back that they would go over and that he would call me that day to ensure my paperwork and lease was correct, and still I have received no call. Customer-service aside, the place is very clean and I felt it was very secure and safe. The price is fantastic and they offer a variety of units and discounts (student, military, etc.). I hope that in the future that this company will give me better service than what I have received thus far. read more

I had no idea what I was doing when I first inquired about renting a space. I thought it would be a lot of paper work and I definitely did not think that I'd be able to get a storage space that same day. The rental process was so easy and so quick. The staff here is WONDERFUL! They are extremely helpful and friendly. They are very laid back and don't try to pressure you into renting from them. Besides having great prices, the facility itself is very clean and very safe. My storage unit is on the 3rd floor. Initially, I wanted a storage unit on the first floor because I didn't want to have to constantly bring stuff up and down. I have no problem being on the 3rd floor because they provide carts you can just throw your stuff on and take up in an elevator. Save yourself the trouble of researching other places, you'd be lucky to be able to rent here! read more

I had a real bad experience storing my stuff with them. Not a facility I would recommend. Not clean. Not customer friendly. Way overpriced. VERY limited hours and they take off almost every holiday and block you from accessing your units. Security is lacking. This place is not what you need when you have to store your belongings. Had passed along a lot of tools I had in storage to my son-in-law and wanted to downsize my storage unit since I only needed half the space and figured I'd save a few bucks. Well the place I was at would only save me 25% of the cost on a 50% reduction. That made me mad and I figured it was time for a move. After a bit of on-line investigation I found Jamacha Point. Their price worked out to a 66% savings! Sounded too good to be true. Drove over to inspect the place and was pleasantly surprised. Clean and secure it all met my needs. In the office, Yanet showed me the unit and handled all the rental paperwork quickly and efficiently. The next day when I moved my remaining goods, it was a hot day and I worked up a good sweat and thirst by the time I was done. I stopped at the office to see if there was a water fountain or something to drink. Turns out they had a complementary bottle of cold water for me! Now that's great customer service!
