I went by the office to provide the proof of insurance they require, and in the pouring rain at 8:59 I was able to communicate thru the glass door that I had my insurance doc. She opened the door, and I handed it to her, she took it and began to slip back inside, when I asked her to make a copy of it, as they have always done in the past. She said I would have to wait until they open at 9AM, and went inside leaving me in the rain to await her return a minute or so later. Why???? It wasn't because she had to do something in order to open, she didn't have enough time do anything. It was not only rude, it was inefficient! She walked away from the door, and walked back to let me a little after nine. It appears that someone gave her a little authority, and she was determined to use it, no matter what it cost the business, or how much discomfort and inconvenience it caused the customer....why??? 13years!!!

Now you are in office trying to pay and refused again. You come back with cash and refused again because now they added hundreds more claiming also late but it wasn't not even by one day late. We stopped by the A Storage Place's Del Sol location to check out their prices and availability. There is a lot to like about this place. This is in a nice location where the surrounding area is not too crowded or busy. They have daily office hours from 9am-6pm. Gate hours for tenants is from 5am-8pm. They seem to have a lot of security measures - special access to get onto the premises and through any door, as well as surveillance cameras. There are a variety of unit sizes; it is just a matter of finding an available one in the size that you need. They have a number of units that have access from the outside and also some that are completely indoors. Their buildings have AC which is a major plus! Indoor units also have access to carts that may be used to move belongings to and from and elevators for areas with a second floor. They also have music playing quietly throughout which is especially great for the indoor units so that it is not all quiet and eerie. All areas looked to be clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. And, prices seemed to be reasonable. The only downfall for us was availability, which is definitely not a negative thing to judge them by. Guessing they really are as good as they appear, so why wouldn't their units be pretty much filled up?

We were told the first month was free, but we needed to do a deposit. Still paid $200 when moving in. After 3 months our rate doubled with $330 (This price was not quoted anywhere on the website). I just received a rate increase (and was told this can happen every 6-10 months, not based off of market, or demand, just because). When I looked online at a potentially smaller unit, I saw my exact unit listed at "Standard Price: $220" with the first month free. When I called to ask why my bill was $130 more than the standard price I was told "That's the move in special. You pay that for 3 months, then you get a rent increase." This is not mentioned anywhere on the website. The website says there are 3 different promotions. Either 50% off first month, 50% off first 3 months, or first month free. So it would seem the unit I have gets the first month free with a "Standard Price" of $220. There is no mention of an over 50% rent increase after 3 months. This seems like deceptive pricing and or false advertising and I'm going to contact the BBB about it.
