Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered fish that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

No contamination over here my lady and we offer gluten free upon request

There's a small kitchen area where the menu is and where you place your order. Cooks are viciously making the orders that others are placing, and you can hear the constant sizzling of hot dogs on their grills. They have bar seating on the other side along with a bunch of tables close by but they were all taken since it was prime dinner time at 7:30pm on The Strip and people were walking all around the area. We decided to eat over at a nearby taco joint in the end. Both of us got their D.U.I. Dog, which has pastrami, carne asada, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, a ton of cilantro and chipotle aioli (a mayonnaise kind of sauce). Very packed with flavor with all the meats inside, and the cheese melts so well inside the hot dog. They even put this inside a relatively big carton container, the same kind I've seen the staff put their D.U.I. Fries in... holy crap those are some huge portions! For $18 before tax though, this hot dog was already slightly massive for its size, at just about a foot long. Very nice start to a great time in Vegas! Also a great hot dog stand with immensely tasty dogs.

The parking situation was stressful and they had very limited options in a small space. This year's night market was ten times better and in a bigger space at the Rio. I was on the fence about going given last year's bad experience, but after seeing the vendor list, I was excited to try a couple of vendors that I had not seen before. I really enjoyed the selection this year and tried several things. The things I was most excited about trying were the pizza baos and hwachae. The pizza baos were a bit of a disappointed and tasted raw on the inside. The hwachae was very good. I also had some chicken skewers, noodles, and mango slushy. The biggest downside was the price and if you are someone on a budget, I would say skip this one.

A friend and I stop by in between classes because they said they love vegetarians, and I was hoping they had something good and tasty. The guy at the register let me know of different options that I could order without meat. There were 4 guys working and they were super cool and cracked me up here and there. I ordered the Greenwich as a salad and not sandwich. It was so good! The avocado ranch dressing made the salad along with the caramelized onions, melted swiss, huge tomato slices and toasted bread. I also ordered waffle fries with cajun seasoning which were bomb as well. My plan was to eat half then, save the rest for later. Did that happen? No. The food was too good to stop. And you can't beat the price. I ordered the salad with fries and a drink and the was the best $10 spent. I'll be back to order more and indulge!

Today, the trailer was parked outside the CBC across from Sin City Wings. I couldn't decide what to order on the menu; everything sounded so delicious! My friend and I settled on the Santa Fe (NY steak with grilled onions, jalapenos, and chipotle mayo). Although, I really wanted to try the Bloody Bay since it had jerk chicken and mango salsa on it. I also got the loaded fries (waffle fries topped with truffle oil, parmesan, bacon, and scallions). Sandwich was $7 and the fries were $5. If I was rating this experience on food alone, I would've easily given Coast 2 Coast 4 stars. The fries were perfectly cooked and smothered in delicious rich goodness. I would highly recommend sharing them since they're so rich and covered in velvety cheesy goodness. The chipotle mayo had a tame kick and the random bites of jalapeno were juicy and added the right amount of heat to the sandwich. The hero/sub/hoagie/whatever-you-call-it was soft and held the sandwich together well. HOWEVER, they lost a star for service. We were order #55, and we watched customer after customer get called before us. They kept reassuring us our order was coming out soon, but then they'd hand out more sandwiches and fries to people who ordered after us. 10 minutes and 9 customers later, our sandwiches and fries came out - no explanation provided. We got our food after order #64 came out. That irked me. I'd try this place again, but with hesitancy due to my experience.

Nevada Wild Fest. What exactly does that mean? Looks just like any other traveling carnival except…read morethis is one of those that charges you a 10 dollar admission just so you can walk around just to decide how much more money to spend on food and/or rides. The concept is basically like Disneyland except on a much more smaller, more ghettoish type of scale. I know, ghettoish really isn't a word but you catch my drift. Yes, I know there is a Groupon and Living Social deal for 5 bucks but that's besides the point. The fact that you have to pay just to get in only to be disappointed is what I consider time lost which equals money lost. The rides they have are basic, nothing really stands out. Each ride takes a certain amount of tickets and of course you have to get just enough tickets just to ride 2 or 3. Really not worth it. Even with the all day ride pass. As for the number 1 reason why most people go here is the food. First stop was the Dole Pineapple Whip booth. I got kind of excited because the only place that I knew had this was Disneyland where the Enchanted Tiki Room was. This place even had the words Tiki Treats in the upper left hand corner of their stand. What I found out was that it was a definite knockoff. Their largest size Float Whip was 5 bucks and my two kids easily devoured it in under 30 seconds meaning it wast that large at all. I tasted it and it was no where near what Disneyland serves. Next stop. Soul Food Café Express. My boys were feenin for Deep Fried Catfish with Fries and Dirty Rice as the sides. I ordered just one combo so they can share since we were gonna be eating other things. Cost 8 bucks. When we got our food, the two breaded filets were really good. As for the fries, they were soggy and was still dripping in grease. It seemed to only have been cooked halfway like they forgot about it after the fish was done so they through it in the fryer real quick only to pull it out prematurely. The Dirty Rice could have literally been dirty like it was dropped several times on the floor making its way to the skinny cardboard food holders they give you. It looked more like oatmeal sprinkled with seasonings. So basically we paid 8 bucks for two filets of breaded catfish. Next stop. Wing King. Now these guys I am definitely familiar with. I got a Review Of The Day (ROTD) for their 6475 W Charleston location. I got Fried Pickle Chips for 5 bucks and 10 Honey Barbeque Wings for 12 bucks. Both items I got my money's worth and just like their home location, it was very good. Last Stop. Mama Ita's Roasted Corn. We came here to get Funnel Cakes. Damn, 7 bucks. At least you get strawberries, powdered sugar, and whipped cream on it. Probably the most expensive Funnel Cake I ever ate. The worst thing I have to mention are the Port O Potties. Not only are they nasty, but according to my wife, none of them even had any toilet paper. Good luck if there is any soap or water left. So if anybody asks me about "The Nevada Wild Fest" I will tell them only go if you have lots of money to spend and if you have absolutely nothing else better to do.

When I first heard about the Nevada Wild Fest, I had high expectations. Sadly, they weren't met. When I was approaching the festival, I was definitely excited to hear the loud music and rides. I was ready to buy tons of fried food and indulge myself in the full festival experience. However, while I was there I found myself bored within the first 30 minutes. It almost felt as though I went through everything and didn't have much left to see. The food was mediocre and the rides weren't as fun as the ones I've been on at the LA County Fair. To be honest, I was just disappointed. The one thing that kept the interest alive for me had to be the dog competition. Watching all the cute dogs compete against each other was definitely the highlight of the festival experience.
