Substituted bananas on mobile order, as i was drinking my smoothie i tasted bits of bananas. I went into an allergic reaction. I did end up returning the drink, the girl asked if I wanted it remade or what. I told her no just a refund since my tongue is already swollen, she proceeded with the refund without a single word. As she hands me my money she says I don't know how that happened(looking at her coworker) and then says a short sorry. I understand mistakes happen. But this was a big mistake that lacked a big understanding and sympathetic apology. These are serious mistakes with serious consequences and I am the one paying for it quite literally. Came back today and I had a better experience than the first. Only con would be this location does not have online ordering anymore :( There were different workers with a more welcoming attitude. It was definitely a busy day for them too, props to them for always keeping a smile on their face. I love going on Thursdays because of Thirsty Thursday. This location may have been good when it first opened, but I've created a yelp account just to review the poor customer service it has now. Our first visit (about a month ago) was handled by a new worker. That's okay, but after quite a few mistakes, we were charged incorrectly, even after her co-worker reviewed it. Not very polite on this visit. Our second visit (last Saturday), we were using a promotion for each of us, using separate transactions. Every, and I mean every, Jamba Juice in Salem lets us do this. However, this worker wouldn't, even though we used it last time in the same fashion - no consistency. She stated, "it's against policy, but I'll do it" with a bad attitude. Either do it before we start complaining to you, or have some backbone. Don't blame things on "policies", just say you can't. Take some ownership of our problem. 0/2 at this location. I've never had a bad experience at any other location, and Jamba Juice, as a whole, would receive 4/5 stars. read more

This is a bad jamba juice. The employees are young and do not have good costumer service skills. I accidentally took someone's shot, but it looked like they were putting out samples and they did not make me aware of that before I picked it up and I was very apologetic. They just didn't handle the situation very nicely and were super awkward. read more

I ordered 2 smoothies through Grubhub and I accidentally hit pickup instead of delivery. So I tried to update my order on Grubhub and it said that I needed to call Jamba. So I called and was left ringing for 5 minutes. I thought that was weird so I looked up the number to make sure I had the right one and I called again and still was left ringing for almost 10 minutes. Over the past few years I've been having a bad experience every time I go in to this location. Maybe it's bad luck on my part but every single time I've gone, the employees are hanging out with a friend that stopped by and when I come in they don't bother to hide how annoyed they are that they have to do their job. I try to be cheerful and nice and I get ignored and my card is practically thrown back at me. Employees come and go and they've all treated me the same, almost like theyre trained to be unwelcoming.
