I came here for the first time and I honestly didn't like it as much as Frozenation. They has more of a creamy texture and Ez Freezy has more of a slushy texture. It was little more expensive as well. They also had very limited topics and let's not mention how quickly my frozen yogurt melted considering that I live roughly 5 minutes away. However the service was good for it being extremely busy. There was very limited seating as well but that's reasonable. read more

Walked in and immediately met with an unpleasant smell, like weird cleaning fluid. Tacky handwritten signs around the machines, some ripped. Looks like owner / management takes no pride in their store. It's pretty inexpensive to laminate some printed signs, but this establishment didn't bother. Picked up a cup and dispensed some yogurt. It was a weird color for both flavors I chose, and looked not very dairy-like, more like water plus a powdered mix. Not creamy looking at all. Went to check out and no one ever came back to the cashier station, never saw any staff. So I finally left and didn't get to taste the yogurt. read more

Popped in here for the first time over the weekend and the frozen yogurt was good. They have a good selection of toppings and yogurt flavors. I'm not a huge froyo guy, so it doesn't super matter to me which toppings they have or don't have, if they have a million different flavors of yogurt, etc. There's plenty of choices; if you're unhappy because they don't have Salted Caramel Butter Pecan Twice Baked Chocolate Chips or whatever that's on you. The place is always very clean and well-lit, which is nice. Service is fine, no problems there. I'm always afraid it's going to be super expensive when it's time to weigh the product, but it's pretty reasonable. It's never very crowded either, so that's nice. As far as self-serve frozen yogurt places go, Ez Freezy is just ok. I mean, the majority of them all use the same machines and probably use close to the same mixes,so yogurt aside, the factors that differentiate one place from another are (in my opinion): flavor selection, topping selection, service, and decor/cleanliness. Flavor Selection: They had 10 flavors, with room to add two more. They were pretty standard flavors - nothing special - and all but two were fruit flavors. That's ok, I suppose, but they didn't have my favorite go-to: cake batter, or anything remotely neutral aside from vanilla. That limits topping options. Topping Selection: Typical dry and wet toppings. I do like that the dry topping area has a plastic tray that catches all the toppings that spill, keeping things pretty clean. I also like that some of the fruits come in little paper cups. Service: Not much to say here. As a self-serve place, the counter girl's only real job is to take my money. Decor/Cleanliness: The place was very clean. The decor itself is simple and sparse, leaning on sterile. Inviting, but not cozy. A few minor things I didn't see that I usually see at other self-serve places: - No mini paper cups for sampling. They may have had these on request only, but I usually see them sitting by the main cups. Are they trying to curb over-sampling? - No drinking fountain or water cooler. Yogurt is sweet. Having some water afterwards is nice. They charge 49 cents per ounce, which doesn't seem like a lot, but it can add up very quickly. Just something to keep in mind. If I'm in Keizer Station and in the mood for a sweet treat, I might stop back in Ez Freezy. Or (I hate to admit it) I might just grab a soft serve cone at McDonalds.... read more

My kids love it here!! It's a great little froyo place and is almost always fairly empty and quiet when we go in. It's clean and always stocked. The people working there are pleasant and pretty much leave you be. Samples are free (for customers) which is necessary with indecisive kids that can't read the flavors. The tv is always on cartoons which is a great distraction when I need to make everyone's cup. White interior that caters to kids and it's always clean, I'm impressed! I personally don't like sweets so I get a plain little amount of strawberry with no toppings so the price really isn't meant for you to go plain-- but the kids can get a ton of crap and make the price worthwhile. Definitely would make a cute little date spot and a great treat for kiddos. read more

I always have a great time when I come here. I always find myself very amazed at how clean it is inside. I've been to most other frozen yogurt shops in Salem/Keizer and most of them seem to have a problem with keeping clean. The interior is super cute and inviting as well. I never feel unwelcome by the staff; even though they are usually young, they are always welcoming and never seem rushed. There are lots of different flavors to choose from, and every time I go, they are all available. All of the flavors I have tried are great, but I usually stick to my favorite -- Cake Batter, and add a few toppings. They also have sample cups so you can try any flavor before you buy it. I haven't found EZ Freezy to be any more or less expensive than other froyo shops, so I can't comment on that. But, they do have a punch card so you can get a free one after a certain amount of purchases. read more

Good flavors, plenty of selection, like 15 flavors. Excellent service! They also have more than just frozen yogurt. Some of their yogurt flavors have No Sugar Added, which is nice! The yogurt is okay, nothing spectacular. Me and my family like all the toppings options. I've seen some employees come and go so I can't say much about the service lately, it's mediocre. The employees just seem shy and depressed.
