A day to celebrate not only being an American but Jamba Juice having a location next to my airline terminal ! Lucky for FRANK there was this oasis of tasty beverages so I could quench my thirst while waiting for a plane home. I stepped right up and said " Aloha Pineapple" please and bam it was ready! I had absolutely no interest in visiting any of the food options nearby this Jamba Juice which was conveniently located near the United Airlines gate within Terminal D of Philadelphia International Airport. It took minutes for me to be acknowledged at the counter due to the employees cleaning in the back which I had no problem with. Once I spotted the IMPOSSIBLE, I was ready to order. However, the employee (Kaffo D) mentioned that it was not available, as well as the spring veggie which was my alternative choice to the IMPOSSIBLE. Bummer! As much as I wanted to move on to the next, I stuck with Jamba. I ended up ordering a banana along with a medium Aloha Pineapple smoothie rather than the Razzmatazz, Strawberries Wild, Strawberry Surf Rider, or the Caribbean Passion which were other interests of mine. And all were selections I have ordered and enjoyed during past experiences with Jamba Juice as well. For me there were no disappointments in the medium Aloha Pineapple smoothie ordered. I was satisfied with the visual appeal of it along with its taste which I enjoyed as I waited in the United Airlines gate area. All in all, I had an okay ordering experience with this Jamba Juice. This location need to train their staff better! I got to Jamba Juice 20 minutes before my flight begins boarding and decided that I want to grab an açaí bowl from Jamba Juice for my flight. I quickly ordered an Açaí primo, and since there weren't that many people I thought I would get my bowl quick. They were able to turn around other customers drinks fairly quickly, but struggled with my bowl. The staff didn't know where the ingredients were, and chopped up the strawberries without taking out the leaves first! She left all the leaves on the strawberry and put it in my bowl. As I was cutting close to my flight and the staff couldn't find coconut flakes, I told her I didn't need it. She then wrapped up my bowl and gave it to me. When I saw the bowl, I realized she had only put granola and strawberry on it, leaving out the other toppings like blueberries, banana, and honey!!! I was so mad but this could've been a miscommunication. She might have thought I don't need any other ingredients at all. They do have friendly and smiley staff and the kitchen seems fully staffed as well. This might be a one off incident but I hope this location can train all their staff just as well, or possibly leaving the harder to prepare items for more senior staff members. read more

You know, every time I think of Jamba Juice, I think of paparazzi following Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. It's a weird correlation but hear me out. So many times when I've seen those photos, it seems like these starlets are coming out of a Jamba Juice when they're getting their picture taken (or a Pinkberry... you get the idea). Basically, I walked past this place after getting off the plane. I knew it would be a few minutes til my bags were available. i also knew I was going to get dinner with my wife who was waiting for me, but I needed something in my stomach to tie me over. A smoothie felt like a good choice. So I got the one with about 5 fruits in it (and now I can't remember the name). I remember it had mango, blueberry, peach, banana, and strawberry. During a layover of 2 1/2 hours, I was not particularly hungry, but I was not full either, and seeing that I needed something to drink besides water, I stopped at Jamba Juice. I've ever had a Jamba Juice so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had dairy-free options. I ordered a smoothie that had kale, apple and some other fruits as this was the most popular I was told. It only took a few minutes to macerate my fruit and vegetables and I was on my way. The green smoothie was very good, and filling. Not sure if it gave me a boost of energy but I did not fall asleep at the gate so maybe it did and I did not know it.
