Needed to get coffee and lunch before my flight. I ended up going with the huge line at La Colombe. Even with the massive line, they didn't skimp on quality. I got my drip coffee in line. Unfortunately, their cup must have been defective because it started leaking. The barista noticed and poured me a new cup of coffee. The cup does looked pretty solid however, better than the ones at Dunkin' Donuts. The coffee was smooth and didn't have a bitter taste. I also ended up getting a lox on an everything bagel. I really liked how packed it was. There was lox, cream cheese, capers, onions. They toasted the bagel perfectly. read more

La Colombe inside Los Angeles International Airport is convenient but definitely airport priced. I ordered a coffee and was honestly disappointed. The cup looked full, but most of it was froth. When you're paying airport prices, you expect actual coffee not a froth situation with maybe three ounces underneath. The coffee itself was mid-level. Not terrible, not memorable. Just okay. The cashier was very helpful and pleasant, so no complaints there. But between the price and the froth heavy pour, I'll probably grab my caffeine somewhere else next time. LAX already costs enough at least fill the cup with coffee. read more

What a nice convenient restaurant in the Philadelphia airport F terminal. The bagel and lox were so good and the caramel latte really hit the spot early in the morning. The service was friendly and fairly quick. It was pricey, 1 bagel with lox, a banana nut muffin, small caramel latte, 2 strawberry lemonade drinks were $46.97. But worth it. read more

The line to this stand was quite long and there was practically no line at the other food options for breakfast on this morning, so I figured I was in the right place. When it comes to this terminal, this food court is new and bright, and there are actually a lot of options. La Colombe is a Philadelphia favorite and it can be found many places around the city. I ordered one of the few quick sandwiches that was with yummy veggies and eggs for my morning meal. I would've got a coffee, but I really wanted to still be able to sleep on my flight. As for ambience, you're sitting in a food court in an airport. It is about as glamorous as you'd imagine. It really isn't bad though. read more

This review marks the beginning of the 2025 California Adventure! While I have travelled around the world to many destinations, I have never been west of Chicago in our own nation. That being said, I am happy to have started with the very first "meal" at La Colombé in the Philadelphia International Airport. While it was VERY early; they actually weren't open yet, and I had to wait until 4am for them to start the presses, and I didn't get food, this location is outstanding for what it does offer and the convenience being in the B terminal right before the intersection of the terminal wing and the main airport. All I got was a simple dark roast coffee and topped it with cream, but it was definitely needed. The coffee was hot, freshly ground, and brewed. As close to a pour over that I could get, likely because I arrived so early...I believe I was the second customer they had. For being so ungodly early in the morning, the staff was not only pleasant, but downright awesome. These guys were upbeat, friendly, and gave me all the help I needed in making my coffee dreams a reality, even though I didn't need much assistance. The coffee was ready almost instantaneously and I was on my way to my gate ready to sit for an hour and a half to board my flight to LAX, where I can still currently be found sitting waiting to board to begin the adventure! If you are traveling through PHL International and happen to be in the B terminal then you should definitely head to La Colombé for your coffee, tea, espresso, and pastry needs. They get bonus points for putting a location in the airport because no one really wants drip coffee from one of the myriad weird places that line the terminal on your way to the gate. Make your wait and your morning much better by stopping here and don't blame me if you don't, I made it clear that this great option is out there for all you travelers! Right infront of tsa precheck C gates , which has different options in used to at other locations. Variety açaí bowl options just wish this location carried matcha. Only wish the açaí had chia seeds as an additional topping. Can't expect much from chain establishments with chai because it mostly taste like cinnamon toast cereal milk. Best option of caffeine for non coffee drinker. Decent cafe if you're in the go. read more

Saturday morning at this terminal was pretty busy, but luckily I had time and there was a number of decent food options to choose from. I decided to go here because even though the line was pretty long, it seemed to be moving fast and the employees were pretty efficient. It's a normal airport eatery that kind of resembles a mall food court eatery but it was surprisingly affordable for airport food and very decent. It also gives local coffee shop vibes. What was at first going to be a quick layover, turned into a long one thanks to delays, so I found myself needing something for lunch to hold me over. I did a lap around the food court in terminal F and decided to try La Colombe. While I didn't need caffeine, there were other items on the menu that I was up for. I went with a berry blast smoothie and a plain bagel with cream cheese. It came out to roughly $15. The staff was really nice, which isn't typical at airports (in my experience), so it's worth mentioning. They were also very quick when it came to preparing my food. The smoothie, which was a suggestion from the staff, was a great call. I definitely needed some fruit and it hit the spot. The bagel was just a toast bagel but the carbs were just enough to help keep me full until I got home a few hours later. The La Colombe in terminal A had just the pick-me-up I needed before I boarded my flight. They have the best coffee in the city as well as some beautiful pastries. This happens to be one of my favorite airport coffee spots. I actually look forward to flying so I can get their black and tan special - a mix between their draft latte and pure black cold brew. The only issue, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, is that they are sometimes out of the black and tan. This happened to me this morning and I was oddly sad. Tea is made all wrong. First, choices are limited. Second, the worker poured a lot of milk into the cup. Then added hot water. Then put a tea bag on top. Needless to say, unsteeped tea. Tastes like something is wrong with hot milk and water. Gross. read more

How do you, La Colombe (roasters of "top rated coffees", whose motto is "America deserves better coffee") not have any iced coffee available at 10am in the morning? When we ordered, we were told "no iced coffee, no cold coffee, nothing" - direct quote. I think the cashier probably could have at least pointed to the cans of draft latte available in their grab-n-go case (not that we would have bought one, as there were no black or oat milk options), but this cashier just shut us down completely, didn't ask if wanted anything different or anything else, and literally called for the next person in line. They weren't busy: there were three employees working, two people waiting for their order, us, and the people behind us. Worst coffee-at-an-airport-experience I've ever had. read more

Got the cold brew, would not recommend. Probably the worst cold brew I've ever had. I really feel for the folks who say this place has great coffee, I'd compare it to instant. It's bitter, over extracted and watered down, but hey at least it's only $7.00 plus tax and tip. read more

The draft latte was VERY average... I mean I guess it is airport quality lol. It didn't taste like La Colombe coffee I had in downtown Philly for sure. The outside was pretty though - and line wasn't too long either for an airport coffee store (lol in comparison with Dunks/Starbs in other airports). Fyi this one is by Gate A13. read more

They didn't have any baguettes for the chicken salad sandwich so put it on a croissant, I tried to confirm they put the same amount of chicken salad as they do the baguette since they're charging the same amount. The ladies got attitudes about it and decided to wrap me up a croissant with no chicken salad on it....which I didn't realize until after I was on my flight. $15 wasted? Got to try La Colombe for the first time and see what all the hype was about. The shop is located in Terminal E and the line is continuously wrapping. I got a medium white chocolate latte and it was delicious. It was very creamy and rich with the perfect amount of sweetness. It definitely lived up to its hype. Honestly I don't think I've had such good coffee at an airport in my life. I got it with oat milk which I'm usually meh about because I really like regular milk. But the caramel iced latte I got was amazing! Also the service was great, everyone was friendly and asked how I was. This was my first time ordering food and drinking something other than coffee at La Colombe. I was very disappointed in the lox bagel and Matcha that I had ordered. Perhaps it was bad because it's in the airport and the employees might not have put their best time and effort into my order. My bagel did not taste fresh, and my matcha tasted like it came from an instant packet. Too sweet with an awful color. The service was relatively fast despite the long line. I don't think I will order matcha from La Colombe ever again as this might have been the worst that I've ever tried. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I most definitely would. This was the WORST coffee house experience EVER! Incompetent and lazy employees who deliver wrong orders, under filled drinks, and burnt bagels. For the crazy airport life this place rocks! Wish I caught her name, the barista had it down to java science. No one expects tasty or quality or consistency at an airport but La Colombe did me great with a flavor filled caramel latte before my flight and served up dairy alternative too for a good price. There's not much atmosphere here like most runway restaurants, no matter. I downed the beverage too quick not because I needed caffeine, was mixed well and balanced the sweet and bitter right. Where we live, there are very few stores that carry this coffee, so to find a actual coffee shop in the Philadelphia airport was a wonderful surprise. This spot is in Terminal E. We had a couple lattes and the taste of this coffee bean is wonderful! They also had bagels and locks in breakfast items, but we only had coffee. After a 10 hour flight, we were looking forward to a coffee/ tea and a bagel. Well you can avoid this place. We ordered large regular coffee, a large chia Latte and a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with cream cheese. I was barely given a medium chia latte. When I asked about ordering a large, the guy said "I already made it......" then he threw in "that was what you ordered" . I said "No, it wasn't" but at that point I just accepted my fate of getting ripped off. It wasn't until we walked away that we found that the bagel was burnt. Pretty good. Went to two PHL locations. Terminal A and E. Staff friendly at both locations. Coffee was well above average for an airport location and recommend over DD @ PHL which I also tried. Got a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant ($10). Hot fresh and again above average for airport. 4 stars recommended. read more

Went there landing in Philadelphia last week as I had connection flight thru that Airport going to Nashville and seen this nice looking place and was Hungry so decided to give a try and Got myself A Ham butter and cheese baguette with a Strawberry banana smoothie with Apple Juice in it and was delicious. The coffee was good. It was nice to see some food offerings outside of the typical. I tried the avocado toast which was a bit difficult to eat with plastic utensils (I ended up lifting and eating with my hands), and I thought it had way too much hot pepper and not enough salt. I would happily stop here again for the coffee, but might try something else (like a breakfast sandwich of some kind) and see if I have better luck with that. read more

I've never had such a bad experience trying to get food before, much less at a come-and-go shop. The employees ignored us for a while, and then when they finally asked us what we wanted, never looked up at us and just mumbled they couldn't serve us despite someone ordering right before us. Again, without looking up, they just walked away and left us confused. Unacceptable behavior - ended up going to the Chick-Fil-A a minute's walk away. read more

Delicious coffee!! I was super excited that they had decaf lattes available (it sounds like an oxymoron) but not everyone has decaf. The avocado toast was very good, but too much black pepper on top. My lips were burning for a while afterwards!! But overall, for a quick stop at the airport, it was a great find! read more

At this point the girl grabs her manager to refund my money. The manager then worked to fix it and refunded my money. He was doing his best, but unfortunately the rest of the staff is why I'm leaving this review. We walk away to go eat the now $45 worth of food. I sit down and look at my bowl and look at the receipt. I ordered "no raisins," and sitting right on top of the bowl are raisins. It's now been 15 mins of back and forth and I no longer want to spend any more time at the restaurant. I go back by myself and ask them to please just take the bowl back and refund me. The manager- again trying his best- starts taking care of it. Two fully grown adult males then both come over around the manager and start asking what the problem is. One of them who made it now starts asking what was wrong with it. So I show him the receipt and the bowl. He offers to remake it, but at this point I'm just getting something elsewhere. The third male turns around - who didn't take my order, or make my food - and starts arguing with me over why I don't want them to remake it. So now it's 3 grown men in front of me, 2 of whom are arguing with me while the manager refunds me. It was extremely intimidating as a woman.

This place is seriously a slice of heaven that just breathed life into my hectic day. The service was superb and my usual La Colombe order (cortado and a corsica) was on point. To top is off, I ordered a smoked salmon bagel. Now, I was weary of ordering this at an airport location but was convinced by the young man behind the counter who assured me it was an excellent item.
