Maya got stepped on by a horse and Paige told her to shake it off. My first grade daughter's lip was trembling so I went over to comfort her. That same horse ended up bucking her off and Paige didn't have a normal reaction. She, I think, was in shock that it happened. My daughter bawled her eyes out and I assessed to see if she needed medical care. The trainer then wanted Maya to get back up on horse, which took a lot of coaxing but she did it. Horse riding lessons at blue ribbon was something my daughter looked forward to because she had such a memorable experience at farm camp. Her first lesson was probably the best and then it went downhill from there. Each lesson ended n in tears on the way home. Paige was just not the right person for my daughter. Then, to my surprise, Christine the owner reached out to me to offer Maya free farm camp but then she never followed through on her promise. I made the mistake of telling my daughter about it and she was so disappointed that blue ribbon continued to disappoint with empty promises. I thought it would've been a nice opportunity to remedy the damage done but it was only made worse by a lack of communication. She communicated with me via Facebook messenger and so I could see when she read the message too. Pretty pathetic. We used to think so highly of this place and now, we are so gravely disappointed because my daughter's dreams have been shattered. Thankfully, we found a new place for her to go horseback riding with a very patient trainer. Maya's confidence has boosted with the new place to the point it only affirmed how poorly the lessons at blue ribbon were for my daughter. I learned that Paige is no longer at Blue ribbon which is a great thing for the business. The owner also should not make empty promises. We loved this place, until we were slighted and the pain my daughter experienced (both physically and emotionally) are things that could have been prevented. All the hope and joy experienced here were crushed by taking horse back riding lessons here. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe what we feel. Do better blue ribbon!

The patience that these two women have showed my children and the lessons that they have learned is incredible. My children now have a love of horses, have learned responsibility of helping to take care of an animal, along with sportsmanship. I feel that Wildwin Stables is more then just a place to receive lessons but more of a family. Everyone is so warm and welcoming that I could never have even imagined that my children wanting to take horseback riding lesson could lead to such an amazing experience for not only them but also for our entire family. Windwood…read more.. AMAZING!! My son had so much fun last year. Everyone there already knows each other and have been there for a couple of years. Their activities are great, and afternoons better! Kids ages 12+ can stay at the swim/tennis club afterwards, until parents pick them up (with parental permission of course). They have a huge pool, that is a bit peculiar because its a bit like a bowl. Awesome waterslide, truly curves and curves. And the counselors are amazing. In particular, there was this one lady. College age and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Would totally recommend Windwood. They'll always find a friend.
