Frankly I was awed by how beautiful the area was and the attention to detail in the surrounding architecture. Gift is located right in the center of it and shares the space with a nail salon. I had a very similar experience to what others have described here. I'm not someone who plays the victim or jumps to conclusions, but it was clear we weren't being treated with the same respect as other customers. We came in ready to spend money and support the store, but after her nasty attitude, we decided to leave without buying anything. Honestly, I don't know if this woman is unhappy with her life and just straight up bitter with who she is, but that's no excuse to take it out on customers. If she doesn't know how to interact with people respectfully, she shouldn't be working in a customer-facing job! It's disappointing to see that this kind of behavior is still happening. Hopefully, the owner takes notice--no one deserves to be treated that way just for shopping.
