Dr. Zayas and his staff even stay later than 7pm to help people who can't come in earlier. And then they squeezed me in the following week last minute as well. I desperately needed a root canal and they took care of me. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and Dr. Zayas is cool and calm. My experience from beginning to end was amazing and they totally erased any bad child hood memories I've had with past dentists. I've heard horrible things about getting root canals but Dr. Zayas and his crew made it easy and pain free. Yes, wait times are long but totally worth it. Dr. Zayas is the best!

I made my appointment, showed up, not even 3 mins later, I was being seen. Even better with my follow up appointment, I showed up, and my dentist was by the front desk and walked me right in. They deserve a 5 stars for just this! Now the service. I have never had a set dentist so pretty much every year, I'd be seeing a new dentist, but this is the ONLY ONE that actually explains everything in detail to me and make sure I understand exactly what's going on with my teeth. "A little pressure here, you're gonna feel a little pinch,you're gonna feel a little cold, I'm just gonna polish it". He made me feel calm by letting me know what to expect every step of the way. I came to Brownsville for vacation on a medical treatment vacation for other reason. I had a tooth that was hurting so bad on my trip. I thought I needed to get it pulled as it was a beautiful healthy looking tooth and didn't know why it was hurting. I thought maybe you my grinding. At that point didn't care how much any dentist change as the pain was getting so bad that even oxycodone that I had brought with me for my chronic pain didn't help or my other stronger meds I had with me called oxymorphone didn't work for the pain. Well this office didn't try to rip me off. They even wanted to run every insurance card I had in my wallet go see if anything would cover. Anyway after getting into the back. I was told I had an infection on the tooth and needed just antibiotics to go away. I was like I should pay to pull out out. Well they didn't let me. Which I am thankful I saved my tooth. Today is 12 days from the visit and that tooth is back to normal. This office is legit honest. If this was back home in New Orleans. They would of took all my money and made me pull that tooth out for nothing. What the best part about this visit. When you go in for emergency appointment. The visit is crazy expensive I was expecting $300+. Guess what they only charged me $60. You know this office actually cares and not about the money. I'm just thankful I picked the right emergency dentist to go to my trip. I highly recommend them and would come back to them when I'm back on vacation back here again!
