Why would you have me pay $150 up front, and then secretly bill me another $300???? Why would you let me leave, when I owed you $300? This is an embarrasment, and I will be finding a new office that doesn't have a FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR simple visit fee. Absolute insanity. My account is under review with the financial team, but this is INSANITY. It's like going to Mcdonalds for a happy meal, paying $8, and then you start receiving phone calls and letters telling you "haha just kidding, it's actually $400". The whole experience was like watching an assembly line be taken care of a the cash register drawer dinging. I have had Mohs surgery before and was cared for like an independent patient, the procedure never taking more than an hour. I am at 6 hours and there is still someone ahead of me. Livid and disgusted!!!! Wednesday, Update Today I had a conversation with Abbey, Dr.Lewis's operation manager. I commend Dr.Lewis on her choosing Abbey for this position. She was amazingly, professional. Abbey's respectfully listened to my concern regarding the situation that occurred yesterday ;my hideous waiting time for the completion of my Mohs surgery and the overbooking of patients that were gathered in the office etc. Her acknowledging my dissatisfaction , without excuses was extremely satisfying. She understood why I was upset and recognized that I had been a patient since the practice had begun. I have now reconsidered the idea of not leaving the practice. Debbie became irritated when she had to change my uncle's appointment twice and with sarcasm suggested that my aunt "needs to accompany my uncle next time!" My aunt is over 80 and uses a wheelchair. The rest of the office interaction has be extremely positive with front desk staff, Sandy, Christina, and Susan! If Debbie wants to make things right she needs to call and apologize to my aunt and I will remove the negative review!
