It's $30 to pick the gallon and I was told it was organic and non spray. After seeing prices for other places I saw some charged anywhere from $10-20 for this. There was a group of ladies that came and when they were told the price they were surprised and ended up leaving. I don't regret coming here because we had a fun experience but just letting you know it can be pricey!

I highly recommend you take Exit 87, regardless of how busy you are, and whetehr you're going northbound or southbound. You must stop at this peach shed, chat with Jessie, the sweet lady who makes the ice cream, ask her for a sample of peach cider, and most importantly, buy yourself their homemade peach ice cream, sit on one of the row of rocking chairs in their garage. The BEST PEACH ICE CREAM EVER! You will also find peaches, depending on the season, homemade jams, jellies, and other peach products. This peach stand was highly recommended by the nice ladies at the first resting area on I-85 upon entering South Carolina. Funny how a 20 minute stop can become so special because of the most delicious ice cream!

We followed the "Lavender" signs we saw on Highway 11 to this little gem in Landrum! It is a U-pick…read morelavender farm and quaint store off the beaten path. At the entrance gate, you are greeted by one of the friendly workers. It is $5 to enter and park at the lavender you-pick farm. Follow the gravel road down to the parking area. Check out the little store where you'll find all things lavender: lavender bar soap, simple syrup, candles, hand soaps, baking mixes, deodorant, infused honey, and teas. And they even have lavender honey ice cream and lavender cookies! Both were excellent!! To do the you-pick lavender, you pay $8 for a full bunch. This is a really fun, relaxing activity to do (with a beautiful setting and nice smells!) They have nice and clean restroom facilities. The family that owns and runs the farm is so friendly. This is such a charming, unique thing to experience in the Landrum area.

We called that morning and were able to visit at 2:00 PM. They welcomed us and gave us a complete and very informative tour of the farm. We got to meet the alpacas by name and visit the 11-month-old and 4-month-old alpacas with their mothers. We even had the chance to feed and walk with one of them. A huge thank you to the wonderful couple who owns this property for your kindness, patience, and understanding, especially with part of my family who did not speak English, allowing us time to translate. Your property is beautiful, and the alpacas are clearly loved and well taken care of. We will definitely visit again next time we are in this part of the country!
