Let see...Lemmons sells...you guessed it...Peaches!! I got peaches here a few weeks ago (the…read morebeginning of July) that were the size of softballs!!! Atmosphere - Large garage, hot, empty, lots of peaches, back grocery area, evidence that this place is mainly supported by seasonal traffic. Service - Friendly and local. The first spot I went to (closer to i-85) was closing and with limited peach supply. The kind lady at this site called over to their other location to make sure the ladies there waited for me. Everyone was super nice. Food - I got 2 pecks of peaches (or 1/2 bushel), a jar of jam, and a huge cup of peach ice cream (which...btw was awesome) for about $29. This was a pretty good deal as the next day when I visited the Farmers Market in Davidson they were charging $9 for a 1/2 peck. Plus, the peaches from Lemmons were larger and better in appearance. Overall - I got some really tasty peaches that were used for some even better peach cobbler. This is my location for peaches...it should be yours too! PS: They take credit cards here if your total order is sufficient in price (i.e. over $10).

So many peaches!…read more There are two locations once you get off the exit, a small shed with a limited variety of options (cash only) and the larger store (underneath the RUGS billboard) on the other side. We started at the smaller, but I didn't have enough cash to buy what I wanted, so they directed us across 85. The larger space is still somewhat open-garage feel. They have fresh peaches in a variety of sized containers (bushels/baskets/etc), ciders, jellies, jams, vinegars, the list go on and on. Then, you can go inside where they sell their homemade peach ice cream alongside Hersheys brand ice cream. We ordered a small peach ice cream and it was at least three scoops - plenty to share! Also inside are some small trinkets, snacks, and shelves and shelves of canned goods, most made by Lemmons. Pickled everything, butters, chow chows, more jellies and jams, marmalades, it was ridiculous. They also had a limited menu for a few made to order sandwiches and sides. I believe the minimum for credit cards was $10. We left with some peaches, a jug of peach cider, moonshine pickles (haven't tried yet), hot chow chow (not terribly hot, but tasty), and some peach butter. Everyone was very friendly and when I'm passing through again I'm sure I'll stop by.

Stopped in here on our way home to NJ after seeing a huge sign that says peaches next exit!…read more Unfortunately I didn't leave with any peaches being its not the season but I did leave with some great goodies. I bought my mother a large bag of fresh shelled pecans, a few peach ciders both sugar and sugar free, grits, a peach soda and apple & peach bread along with some stink bombs for my boyfriend lol. They have a really great selection of preserves and ciders of all kinds. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly offering us samples of pretty much whatever we wanted to try. They also sell fire works here! I didn't really look too much at them but there was quite a selection. I will definitely be stopping here on my next trip to Georgia and hopefully peaches are in season when I do!

On 85 heading to Atlanta for Labor Day weekend and of course advertisement is super productive I…read moremean at least 1 out of 10 will cling to the advertisement if it's good right ‍? So again as we are rolling up 85 my husband constantly reads aloud several advertisements about the Peaches that we never stop to get on our many weekend getaways to Atlanta. He goes on to say how they are always closed on Sunday which is the day we usually ride home. Then BAM an advertisement about "Free Peach Cider Sample" and now he's super SOLD about stopping. So he does and since our toddler was asleep I stayed in the car. He came out all excited and said let's switch and he sit in the car while I go Taste and so I did. We both liked the Peach cider with No Sugar added. We purchased a bottle as well as some Peaches that we just cleaned as they were pretty freshly picked (super dirty and ripe) which is a good thing as they came from the original source and not mass reproduced. The people were friendly and helpful and we are happy with our purchase. We will stop back in the future as long as he stop on the way going and not the way home since they are closed on Sundays.
