He missed the call and called right back and they didn't answer. He arrived 5 minutes later, still within 15 min. Of his actual scheduled time, and they refused to see him. Receptionist was rude and non accommodating. Otherwise, this place is nice and the actual hygienist and dentist are great but front office experience can make or break a business.

Their state-of-the-art equipment eliminated the need for the horrible goopy stuff that goes in your mouth to make an impression (makes me feel like I'm choking). They make their crowns in the office, while you wait, and there is no need to get a temporary crown and return for another long visit. I am SO happy to have met Dr. Sackheim and his staff. After trying 3 Dentists since moving to Pensacola, I have finally found someone I trust and am comfortable with. But let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit just how awful Landmark Dental has been. In 2020 and 2021, I had dental work done here. My dentist, Kevin, upgraded my composite tooth to a porcelain one WITHOUT my consent. At the time, there was no way I could have afforded a $2,000 tooth--I specifically selected the cheapest option. When I arrived to get the crown, Kevin casually informed me it was a "wedding present" since I had recently gotten engaged. Fast forward to when I tried to schedule a cleaning before my wedding, and suddenly, Landmark decided I owed them for that porcelain tooth I never agreed to. I asked if they had even bothered to file a claim with my excellent dental insurance--of course, they hadn't. They assured me they would, but for six months, I had to battle with their utterly incompetent employee, Dee, because my insurance never received the claim. Landmark eventually stopped answering my calls entirely, leaving me to move on with my life. Now, four years later, here we are again--Landmark harassing me, ignoring all logic, and making my life difficult. And the cherry on top? I even paid for the porcelain tooth I never authorized, yet I'm STILL being hounded for money. This place is a joke. I live in Pensacola and I drive over to Gulf Breeze because it's actually quicker for me to drive the 12 minute straight shot to his office that has super easy parking, than drive 15 minutes into Pensacola traffic where other dentists are located. They fixed 2, then I had problems after they "fixed/updated" them. Soon after, they insisted I fix more old work. I switched dentists instead. It's been 8 years with our new dentist, and my teeth are great. ADC also recommended work on my son that didn't need to be done. When they did the work on my teeth, my bite was off and I had jaw/neck problems for a few months. Even had to get on muscle relaxers. They tried to fix my bite twice, and the second fix worked. It was a pain. I've never had problems with another dentist like this.

The initial intake process for myself and my two dependents was also extremely lengthy, taking at least an hour, if not longer. I was particularly uncomfortable with the emphasis on services that were not covered by our insurance. We were required to complete an Invisalign assessment even after declining interest in Invisalign, which felt unnecessary. I was also concerned by how our dental conditions were presented. In my experience, relatively routine issues were described in a way that made them seem much more serious, and each of us was referred to a surgeon. After further consideration, those referrals did not appear to be necessary for us. There are definitely positives here--the location is great and the staff is very nice--but overall, the lengthy intake, outdated equipment, pressure toward services we did not request, and what I felt were overly alarming recommendations made this practice a poor fit for my family.
