Landmark Dental is an absolute disaster of a business, and their incompetence knows no bounds. I have signed proof that I paid you, yet I've now received FOUR separate phone calls in TWO days harassing me for money I sent weeks ago.Your billing department is either utterly inept or deliberately malicious--either way, it's unacceptable. But let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit just how awful Landmark Dental has been. In 2020 and 2021, I had dental work done here. My dentist, Kevin, upgraded my composite tooth to a porcelain one WITHOUT my consent. At the time, there was no way I could have afforded a $2,000 tooth--I specifically selected the cheapest option. When I arrived to get the crown, Kevin casually informed me it was a "wedding present" since I had recently gotten engaged. Fast forward to when I tried to schedule a cleaning before my wedding, and suddenly, Landmark decided I owed them for that porcelain tooth I never agreed to. I asked if they had even bothered to file a claim with my excellent dental insurance--of course, they hadn't. They assured me they would, but for six months, I had to battle with their utterly incompetent employee, Dee, because my insurance never received the claim. Landmark eventually stopped answering my calls entirely, leaving me to move on with my life. Now, four years later, here we are again--Landmark harassing me, ignoring all logic, and making my life difficult. And the cherry on top? I even paid for the porcelain tooth I never authorized, yet I'm STILL being hounded for money. This place is a joke. The office is dusty and the dentist Kevin Parekh doest seem experienced enough to really do anything but pull teeth. The office is run by his mother that is likely why he has a job there. No other respectable practice would likely hire him due to his lack of skill and they use old equipment that looks either 10 years old or they bought it second hand from other dental practices. Just be careful who you trust your dental health to, some dentists arent trustworthy and like to upsell you and over sell you on services. I've been a patient for a little over a whole year now and in that time I've had a variety of visits for a cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals and a bridge since the original extraction and bone graft. I want to reiterate, that I've had a CONSIDERABLE amount of dental work done in a very short amount of time, and I want to say that I feel so extremely fortunate to have come here in the first place. Every single time I have shown up I've felt welcome, I've never felt pressured for extraneous or unnecessary procedures and I have ALWAYS felt that Dr. Kevin and the entire staff have acted in my best interest. Dr Kevin is the best dentist in Pensacola we have had a handful of dental emergencies and he can always get us in with a quickness. My daughter cracked her tooth on a carrot and he got us in immediately and fixed my daughter up with in the week! The staff is amazing and so very helpful with any questions i had! Thanks guys! Yes I could have chose a dentist much closer to my home but this dental team is very much worth the drive. Always friendly and were cognizant of my dental anxieties. First time I've haven't had to use Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas). Keep up the strong work. Also very reasonable prices compared to other dentists in the local area. read more

I came in for dental care in 2020 and 2021 with insurance and paid my copays the same day I had work done. I loved the care I received from Dr. Kevin and his hygienists. However, I have a serious issue with their financial person, Dee. It is now 2022 and I called on 06/13/22 to schedule a teeth whitening for my upcoming wedding and was informed my insurance wasn't working and I owed them over $2,000 for prior work. I immediately called my insurance and was told that this dental office never submitted a claim as my last claim was in 2016 with my old dentist. My insurance shows me all the claims submitted whether approved or not and there was never a claim submitted in 2020 or 2021. I never received a call or any mail about this issue. My phone number on file has continued to be my current contact information and my address just recently changed in December of 2021. No letters, no calls at all from 2020 up until 06/13/2022 when I called to make an appointment. Since then, I have called numerous times to check on the status and am always promised a call back but have yet to receive one. I called 06/13/22, 06/21/2022, 06/29/22, 08/08/22, and today 08/10/22. I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding this issue and am extremely disappointed with their financial worker Dee. When I called today, I was told she is only one person. While I understand that, she has had over 2 years to reach out to me for this issue and over 2 months of calls from me begging her to fix her mistake and file my claims. I loved this office and used to rave about it to all of my friends. Some of which actually use the dental office because of me. Now I will be warning everyone about them instead as this has caused me undue stress and anxiety for no fault of my own. It is ridiculous that I have called over a 2 month period and cannot get a straight answer or any assistance whatsoever. After a few days of agonizing pain in one of my teeth, I was eager to see a qualified dental expert to solve my problems. As I searched my local doctors, I stumbled upon landmark dental care and Dr. Kevin Parekh. Based on his education from the University of Florida, it was evident that Dr. Kevin was not only a genius, but a great all around person and role model. I was a bit anxious considering the possibility of bad news, but that feeling slowly washed away as soon entered the building. After a minor anxiety attack in my car, I mustered up the courage to walk in. As I opened the door, Dr. Kevin sashayed towards me with his long, confident, somewhat seductive strides. I felt like time slowed as my line of vision rose from his feet to his angelic smile and passionate gaze. Our eyes locked and I could feel a sense of warmth come over me. As he shook my hand and greeted me, I knew I had made the right decision. His grip was firm and direct, like what you would expect from the experienced war hero that he is. However, he handled my grasp with a compassionate sensitivity that made me feel like I no longer needed to worry, and that Dr. Kevin was now in control. It was a feeling of security and love that I haven't felt since I was a child in my fathers arms. Dr. Kevin sat with me as I explained the purpose for my visit. While almost all the dentists I've been to in the past seem to be too busy to care what the patient is going through, Dr. Kevin grabbed my hands, looked me in the eyes, and encouraged me to continue. I explained that I had nothing else to talk about regarding my teeth, but he pushed me to open up even more. Finally, I broke down and confided in him the details of my life. Divorce, layoffs, loss, depression. He poured me a glass of aged Italian red wine that he had bottled at one of his vineyards and he held my hand as I continued. Through sips of wine, we laughed and cried together until eventually the sun had set and the bottle was empty. After a few seconds of awkward, yet comfortable silence, Dr. Kevin invited me back to the patient room. He sat me down and got to work. He smiled at me playfully, and I couldn't help but smile back. As I did, he reassured me that my smile was the most important thing to him and he wanted to ensure that it was a gift that needed to be shared with the world. He told me he understood exactly what I was going through and he knew exactly how to fix it. I submitted to his will as he began to examine my teeth. Before I knew it, he let me know that he was done. He brought me a mirror and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was a person that I hadn't seen in a very long time smiling back at me. A familiar smile that I had all but forgotten over the years. It was the same, spritely boy that still believed in love and happiness. A bright white glowing smile. I realized that Dr. Kevin pushed me to open up because he needed me to be vulnerable. He broke me down, and rebuilt me. As I got up to go, I realized that this experience that seemed to have lasted a lifetime, really only took about 45 minutes and I still had time to make it to my sons baseball game. Dr. Kevin casually escorted me to my car like the refined gentleman that he is. As I pulled out my keys, I confidently asked when I could see him again and he told me "Tuesday at 11 for that root canal" and for once in my life, I couldn't be more excited to have Dr. Kevin in my mouth again, even if he is drilling a hole through my tooth. After the game, I stopped by Applebees for some food, and the people couldn't stop complimenting me on my smile. I met several single women and received 4 job offers. Tomorrow I am interviewing to be the spokesperson for Crest whitening strips before going on another date with a Hawaiian tropics model. It seems that, after only 3 days, my life finally has meaning and direction. I am finally excited to see what the future brings and how far this new smile will take me. I look forward to the experience of life again, and I owe all of that to Dr. Kevin and his staff. read more

Out of all the dental offices to choose from, Landmark Dental has earned my respect. Besides having to wait several weeks out, I was able to call on a Thursday and be seen on Monday with no problem! EVERYONE on the staff are very nice and hospitable. I went for a normal teeth cleaning, but this teeth cleaning I recently received was by far the BEST cleaning I've ever had done! Not only could I notice a difference, but I felt it as well! If you want top of the line service in a friendly clean atmosphere, I'd highly recommend Landmark dental! read more

All the dental assistants are amazing and have a very positive personalities also the lady that takes care of financing is very polite and helps you feel at ease when making a health care plan.This whole dental office has an amazing team! My granddaughter had an emergency and the DRS. Parekh got her right in and took care of her. They are very caring and thoughtful. Their office is clean, well-run, calming and quiet. We have been going to see Dr. Parekh for some years now and, since her son, Dr. Parekh, has joined her, it is just that much better. This practice will not disappointment you. Dr Parekh is a stellar dentist. Her specialty in TMJ disorders has tremendously helped me. I was having dizzy spells similar to vertigo, headaches, jaw clenching and popping, headaches, neck pain and shoulder pain. It had gotten progressively worse over the past three to four years. My primary doctor suspected a TMJ disorder and referred me to Dr Parekh, who confirmed the disorder. She has treated my disorder for the past four months and all of my symptoms have improved or are nearly resolved. No vertigo! Her and her whole team are amazing and attentive.
