Could not ask for a better doctor. Got me in, did a good job, nice manners. Not rushed. Good front desk people too.

If you have to have periodic injections in your eye(s), there is none better than Retina Institute…read moreof Indiana. Your experience begins with an amazing staff of friendly, smiling faces. The knowledgeable and well-trained assistants are equally friendly and empathetic. Dr. Salam is a published authority on the subject of ophthalmology and retinal issues. He is very professional and highly skilled. The systems in place in the facility benefit both patients and staff in an efficient manner. I've been a patient for some time. If you have to have this kind of care, I don't think any place else is better. It's atypical of medical facilities. It's excellent from the moment you enter the building. Just my humble opinion. My husband had a detached retina, and his eye doctor sent him to Dr. Khan. We were squeezed in on a Friday because time is an issue with a detached retina (I have learned A LOT about this subject since last Friday). We were seen without too much of a wait, and I was so impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Khan and his entire staff. He performed the surgery that night at Lutheran Hospital - it took about 2 1/2 hours. He then opened the office by himself on Saturday morning to look at my husband's eye. I know we are probably paying out the nose for this (I haven't yet seen a bill), but I am so happy with the way he has treated my husband and how professional he has been.

I came to Dr. Diepenbrock with a long (20 years :( ) history of tension headaches, hoping that what…read moreI'd read on the internet about Botox being a potential treatment for this issue might prove true for me. I was quite nervous and felt very awkward about the whole thing because I'd never had anything cosmetic done and hadn't planned to in my lifetime. I've never spoken with a plastic surgeon before and was also afraid that I might get unsolicited advice (i.e. "Well, if we change x or y, you'll look SO much better!") that would hurt my feelings for a long time or something honestly. Nothing I was concerned about came true in the least bit; his bedside manner was A+, and Dr. Diepenbrock was also extremely sympathetic about some personal issues I shared with him that had caused my tension headaches to become much worse in recent months. He came up with a generous and cost-effective plan for treating me during our session but then also suggested that I seek out a doctor that accepts insurance for my type of issue - read: he wasn't even trying to make a return customer out of me, he's really just that nice. As for the results? I definitely feel that it worked. I still get headaches from time-to-time from dehydration or if my neck/shoulder/upper back tension gets too out-of-control; however, the "transfer of tension" to my head doesn't happen nearly as often. These days, I can still feel when the rest of my muscles are tight and aching, but at least it doesn't turn into a headache that prevents me from remembering things or thinking clearly. I think I'll look into having the same treatment on some of my neck/shoulder muscles and see if that solves the problem completely. I'm so grateful that Dr. Diepenbrock was so knowledgeable about this type of issue and was so willing to work with me in my situation because now I might be more on the track to completely solving my 20-year issue. Throw my 5-star review on his heaping pile of other 5-stars; I highly recommend him.

I came in with a procedure in my mind, I am losing volume in my face and wanted it corrected. They basically talked me out of the procedure, and just recommended to take better care of my skin. I have no wrinkles but my pores could be smaller and I have spots of sun damage. I could do a better job looking after my skin for sure. They put together some products for me from Obagi line, Dr.Diepenbrock did a tiny bit of Botox to relax muscles under my eyes when I smile so it doesn't cause wrinkles and hollowness under eyes and they sent me home. Next day my eyes look really relaxed when I smile, I love it. The botox shots were not painful and left no marks! I have a follow up scheduled in June.

This walking c*ck tells me I have it, then tells me to take Flonase, that it's just my anxiety making my breathing difficult, that women have it more than men, and that he's seen worse, so he doesn't want to work on me. I literally had to use the magic phrase, "this is having a negative impact on my quality of life," in order for him the schedule a follow up X-ray. I told him I wanted it fixed and this MOTHERF*CKER said "I know you THINK that's what you want." Sir, I know that you want another man's d*** in your mouth, but how absolutely obnoxious to try and gas light me. I told my certified mental health professional, she was pissed. I told my physician, she was incredibly dissatisfied with the news. Don't go here. By the end of the interaction, after fighting him to take me seriously, he was so visibly pi**ed he had the gall to tell me that I seemed "unhappy." I told him that my mental health was none of his business and that visibly frustrated him more. Our interaction ended when he swung his white little coat like a weird opera villain, refused to say goodbye, and sneered all of the way out of the door. Written up or fired. He does not belong in the medical field, he desperately wants to be more important than he is and he will treat you like GARBAGE as a result. Ladies. Stay. A. Way.
