Everyone in this office is professional and kind. We loved Dr Yee! He was so gentle with my 3 year old needing fillings. We previously went to Adventure Dental and they told us my child needed 9 crowns and were going to charge me $7000 out of pocket not including sedation. I felt like I was being scammed because they couldn't answer my questions and was guilting me into having the procedure done right away. I went to Dr Yee for a 2nd opinion and I am so glad we did. He said my child didn't need crowns or sedation. He did need a few fillings but we didn't have to pay anything out of pocket which was a far cry from our previous dentist (We had to pay for something every time we went). I've been taking my kids here for a few years now. I actually found Dr.Yee in the free monthly parenting magazine they pass out all over town. He is a great dentist and my kids adore him and his staff. Right when you walk into his office you are transported into a jungle themed waiting room with plenty of magazines, play area which is getting revamped soon) and tv with Wii system. The receptionist is super friendly and there are TVs around the office playing the latest animated flick on DVD which keep my kids happy and in their chairs. Dr. Yee and his crew are very caring, informative and most importantly-PATIENT. My children have never complained of any pain and we've never had to wait for longer than 3 minutes for our appointment. At the end of the cleanings/procedures the kids get a free cool toothbrush, some floss, and they get to visit the cabinet of treasure which is always a highlight.I wish my dentist handed out goodies like these. read more

My Daughter is a new patient here, and so far, I am impressed. We were referred here by friends. The first time I called, Laurel was extremely helpful and reassuring. We have terrible dental insurance and Dr. Yee's office does not accept the HMO plan. However, I was so impressed with them that I decided just to pay cash. They were able to see my Daughter on short notice for tooth pain and did not try to over treat her on that visit or "up sell" any additional treatment. Dr. Yee and his entire staff are kind, helpful and professional. The office is decorated in a safari theme which is very cute for the kids and they enjoy the play area and other decorations. We love Dr. Yee! I was referred to Dr. Yee when our children needed care at 2 and 3 years old by Dr. James Kodama, who is an excellent dentist in the same building (see my yelp review!) but who does not specialize in treating young children. Dr. Yee and his staff were amazing with my little ones. Both of my youngest children, one boy the other a girl, had a tooth filled by Dr. Yee at different times. Neither had a moment of trepidation or pain. 100% positive experience, no tears, ZERO drama! The office jungle theme is fun and inviting for littles and no scare tactics or pressure on parents to schedule a bunch of unnecessary follow up appointments to rack up big bills like some pediatric dentists I've heard about! I'm writing this review because I think it's so important that your child's first experiences with dentists be positive. If a child is traumatized, they may not seek care when they need it later in life. With Dr. Yee and his staff you're in good hands. My children actually asked when they could go back! Not even kidding. The thing they remembered most about their dentist experience was choosing a prize from the prize cabinet! So yes, of course, I highly recommended Dr. Yee! read more

Dr Yee and his staff are kind to the kids and do a great job making sure they are comfortable. They have easy online scheduling and text and email reminders for your appointments. They have movies playing for the kids while they get their teeth cleaned, which I don't think is necessary but the kids love it! We love Dr. Yee and staff (particularly Laurel). Our son had to go to the dentist before the age of one for a brown spot on his tooth. Dr. Yee and I held him together in a private room and ever so gently, Dr. Yee examined him. We have been back annually for cleanings and more recently, a chipped tooth. Our son does not have any fear of the dentist, because of the exceptional care they provide. From the moment you walk in, kids feel at home. There is a nifty little set up with legos and other play items in the waiting room. In the back is a private exam room with toys for distraction. The bigger room has a few monitors playing interesting kid movies that totally distracted my son when his tooth was being repaired. Because he is so little, they even have a miniature dental chair! Staff who perform the cleanings show my child every tool before it is put near his mouth and let him touch and examine them. In an emergency, Dr. Yee has called us on the weekend and before the office opened the next day, we had an appointment. Recently we switched medical providers and when I investigated the dentist they were sending us to we decided to stay with Dr. Yee regardless of cost. No way am I going to leave this wonderful, caring environment! As far as Laurel is concerned, she has investigated every possible route for us in terms of insurance without a question. I know I can call with any question and she will answer, or research an answer quickly. Thank you for making our kids' dental experience a pleasant one! read more

Real dentist ie his name isn't just on the office door w a bunch of trainee dentists passing thru til they open their own offices to, it seems, do the same thing, not actually be there while others do the work, he actually shows up and not only works on your kids teeth, but chats afterward w you. I have been going to Dr. Yee's office since I was 3 and now I am 18 and still going and love it. Every one is very friendly and helpful. They always try to help you and answer any questions you have. They have T.Vs in the back to keep us entertained while they are working on you. They also have a front waiting room for the parents while you are in the back or you can have them go in the back and watch you get your teeth cleaned. All the girls and doctors want to make your teeth look good and they will explain everything that they are doing to your teeth so that you will know whats going on. Also for the patients they have stickers, sticky hands, rings, pencils, and other things that you can pick after your appointment.
