I brought my almost 2 year old son here for his first ever dentist appointment and was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it went. Upon arrival the office is cute and welcoming, the waiting area is not overly decorated its just enough to keep the little ones curious but not rowdy. When we were called in we went into the exam room and had out exam, the Doctor and the staff were absolutely amazing at explaining what was going on and keeping my son calm and happy. When we completed the cleaning and exam we discussed his teeth health and care and boom just like that we were on our way out, new toy in hand. Dr. Suzy has been a godsend. My daughter had numerous cavities and went to my dentist at first. It was a horrific experience for both of us. I could hear her screaming from down the hall while I sat in the waiting room. My dentist told me she needed to see a pediatric dentist. I looked online and it said "Kid's Choice Dental." Then we met Dr. Suzy and we trust her implicitly. My kid never shed a tear once in her care and she took care of all her cavities that very first visit with no trauma whatsoever. (I'm literally still traumatized by that first attempt to fix her cavities 8 years ago.) I now have a toddler who DOES NOT let us brush his teeth but for the same reason as his sister, he trusts her to do deep cleaning and doesn't make a peep!! Dr. Kim is fantastic with both kids and parents alike. She has a very nice bedside manner. My kids love her! Very open and honest and passionate about dental health. We've been pleased with her other recommendations for specialists as well. We travel farther than normal to go to Kids Choice because of the high level of care that my kids receive from the practice. I've known Dr.Susie for 11 yrs , I must say that she really cares for her patients. She's very conservative when it comes to her treatment. I first met her 11 yrs ago for 2nd opinion for my son who was 2 yrs old that time. Basically, the 1st dentist wanted to put crowns on almost all of my son's teeth. Which was horrible for any parent to hear. With Dr. Susie after she checked the xrays , she said that all we need are just fillings. And all the baby teeth that she filled that day stayed until it was time for them to get replace by the permanent teeth.
