If I could I would give a negative star for all the lies, deception and unprofessionalism…read more Mr. Weed lures you in with a free consultation. He stated he would contact the IRS in order to know how much money was owed. And he recommended bankruptcy chapter 13. Once I retained him and paid him, he went ahead and filed for it. Unfortunately, he never went and asked for history from the IRS or would not find out how much I owe the IRS since this was a long ago debt. He even knew that it might be over the period that the IRS could go after me, but he still didn't check. The trustee of the bankruptcy kept adding more and more money which meant I would owe another $20,000 plus. Also inside that balance was another $4,000 to Weed. When I asked him why there were more charges and what they were he would dismiss my questions. At this point, I felt uneasy and called the IRS myself. I found out that I did not owe anything so I asked him to dismiss the chapter 13. He then try to use a scare tactic stating that the IRS contacted them, but they did not pick up the phone call. I asked for them to send me any documentation that IRS has sent them. On that document, there was a contact information for an agent assigned to my case. I contacted her and she told me that she has been trying to reach Mr. Weed through phone call and email and he has not replied at all. So here he is lying to me stating that the IRS only contact him once when the truth was, they were contacting him for several weeks now. But at this point you can pretty much tell that all he wanted was to go through the chapter 13 so he can retain more money from me. It did not matter to him that it would add another $20,000 to the debt. It did not matter to him how it would affect my credit score. It was very unethical, unprofessional, and dishonest. Also even though I did not go through the chapter 13, it's still affecting my credit score. Worst idea ever! My recommendation is for you to call the IRS. Do not get a lawyer specially this one

First off, I want to apologize. Mr. Yoon as I could've sworn I submitted a Yelp Review after he…read moretook on my personal affairs. Mr. Yoon saw me from a million miles away as I entered the courtroom and nervously waited for my time to present my appeal and request for work/medical license due to legal ramifications I had placed myself in due to my negligent abuse of alcohol which when coupled with my untreated alcoholism led my DUI and to my criminal conviction and revocation of my rights to operate a motor vehicle until my sentence, probationary fees, and other legal fees were accounted for. Mr. Yoon approached me in the courthouse in 2015-2016, apologies for the gap in time as the specific date alludes me, as our greatest enemy is time, but I digress. Mr. Yoon identified that I was walking into a metaphorical minefield as it was extremely obvious that I was out of my depth when I walked in. He briefly asked me about my situation I was in and represented me and assisted me with my appeal in my case. He requested that I submit a Yelp Review, I could've sworn I already wrote one, but I have found myself in a moment of retrospection, reminiscing about how noble and just his shear presence was and how comforting he was during my state of vulnerability. I regret that the DUI happened at all in the first place and that I lost the career that I loved so much. But I am thankful that no one was hurt or killed as a result of my stupidty as I firmly know I would not be able to live with myself if I caused undue harm or death to my fellow american(s) or human being. I found myself yearning to address this once more to hopefully mentor someone that may be going through a bad time in their life that it is OK to reach out for support as there are many other people out there amongst us that have fallen into war with themselves and their past, present, and the fear and uncertainty that the future holds for us. But if we arm ourselves with knowledge and build each other up rather than tear each other down as Mr. Yoon exemplifies by his character and willingness to help those that lack proper representation. In my closing statements, I hope to leave these breadcrumbs to help other lost souls and pay it forward, because without a person like Mr. Yoon, I would not be the man I am today. I would call him for days, weeks would go by and my e-mails, text messages and voicemail still would go unanswered. He's HORRIBLE!!! I'm still trying to figure out, why do Attorneys like him represent people? If they are not WILLING, ABLE and COMPETANT enough to handle the load, then give back your license to the Virginia state Bar. It's that freaking simple. There was even times when I had to remind him of what my case about because he ALWAYS seemed lost and uninterested, and unorganized. He had such a lack of respect for clients time, he thought, well since he was an Attorney that his clients should chase him down. No! That's not how it works. You freaking got the money to represent someone, then do you freaking job! He is a moron and that's why I had to get another Attorney......JOSHUA PARRETT does not return calls, e-mail. Text messages, fax, snail mail, voicemail, messenger mail, IM's and the all the above and for this....he gets 5 THUMBS DOWN!!!!! Please, please do yourself a favor, do not even pick up the phone and call this moron. HE IS USELESS. You're better off spending your money on someone who is more experience than he is. Especially since he just received his license in 2007. So go figure...
