Once the firm was aware of the issues, the have made assurances to correct any grievances and have shown my experience is not typical of what they provide, and are correcting it. They are going well beyond any required, to address previous shortcomings, showing solid ethics and a willingness to correct accidents when it happens. Anyone can slip up, character is how you deal with it. The Daugherty Law Firm, has shown the have solid character. Maybe others a good, heck maybe even K. is talented lawyer and maybe it truly is just a surge of business, but after my experience I can not recommend in the least the firm. While the initial contact was fast and prompt when I called in, and was able to talk to K. the very next morning to start a filing, honestly after that getting my retainer, the promptness dropped significantly and even promised delivery dates where missed and generally only saw anything after having to call/email (and assumption get billed the minimum .2 hours) asking 'Hey was told should expect the response on X... several days (last time over 2weeks) past that and only time anything thing is done/provided is after my contacting (and per agreement being billed) them. Really have the feeling, it a crass attempt to just pad up the bill, don't mind paying for good work, but don't like paying to to remind folks THEY made a commitment/promise agreement to provide something and it is not well past that.. what is going on. read more

Family matters are not a right to do wickedness. My ex wife hired this law firm to represent her in court for a child case. Given the fact that this is a matter that is delicate in nature for anyone. Their law firm displayed themselves to be some of the worst type of snakes one could every meet. They have no moral rule, just a group of wicked people. They are the worst kind of lawyers, heartless and cold. If that is what one want, than this is the law firm for you. But if you just want what's best for the family and not be moved to do wickedness, this is not the law firm for you, they will lead you to do great wickedness that it might not affect you much soon after, but this is the pain that when you are 40, 50, 60... on your death bed. You will cry and regret every allowing these workers of darkness into your life to help you. No one has ever made a deal with the Devil and died smiling! One day we will all stand before a judge that cannot be moved by lies and tricks! I received a rather nasty reckless driving ticket last year, the Daughtery firm what was the third place that I called, but I knew immediately that they were the ones I was going to go with. I had David as my lawyer, and when I went in to talk with him about my case, he listened to me, he was honest and straight forward. He gave me some council and advice on what I could do to proactively ease the consequences of my charge. I don't know what else to do.. I have a crazy ex and she is out for every dollar I have! I work hard and try to take the best care of my child while the ex lies her a55 of and apparently is believed, and the judge gives her $2200 of my earnings. The system is terrible, and with this firm, I thought there would be at least a chance at justice. Unfortunately, my layer, [Justin Daniel] has left me to completely defend myself. I am charged ever time I send an email ($70), at which he doesn't respond, but i continue to be charged. He offers no advice, and has no vigor when representing me.
