I went to Wright dental because of my insurance. I left a doctor that was out of network that I…read morereally liked and had fair prices. I had to have a bridge replaced. The office/ billing person took a long amount of time to run my insurance and she called them with questions. She came back with a price for my portion of the procedure. I had to pay this price in full before it could be started. I also asked that they get the X-ray from my other dentist since I had all ready paid for them, when I made the appointment. The dental assistant said they did not get my xrays , but that they would not charge me for them. The temporary crown was not comfortable and I had more pain with the temporary than I did with the loose bridge. I felt as if they rushed the temporary since it was a holiday weekend. Today I received a bill for 128 more dollars. No list of charges just a PAY NOW bill. I noticed when looking on my insurance that the out of network doctor s prices were covered in full. So looks like my visits and my family will gravitate to the dentist with reasonable prices and a honor when giving pricing for procedures. I have had other procedures at my other dentist and I have never been billed more. So your 128.00 bill cost you much more since my spouse needs a crown.

A doctor should never be a salesman, but an advocate. I had gone in for a cleaning and asked if they could round off a tooth that was poking me.... 20 minutes later, the doctor had used a putty to reshape all of my teeth to tell me how much better veneers would look on me. They also apparently had to fill all these cavities I supposedly had. My doctor was appalled at how deep they drilled for a routine cavity and now I may have to get a root canal as a result. Truly the worst type of people that only want your money and that's it. Never would recommend as a dentist. Unrelated, but when calling them just now to reschedule an appt for my boss, Google lists two different numbers and their website has a third number. Shocker, all if the numbers lead to the same time with a menu to choose from. All choices lead to someone named Tristan and it goes straight to her voicemail without ringing and once you get to the end and are waiting for the beep to leave a message, the phones hang up on you. Every single time. Literally every time I learn something new about this dental group it's always bad. Don't waste your time, money, or sanity.

She said it is their standard of care despite it being inconsistent with the American Dental Association's own recommendation to only do so when symptomatic or clinically indicated. It seems to me they don't want to use scarce hygienist capacity for low margin patients, which if true would seem to be unethical.

They repeatedly violated my HIPPA rights. He and his staff made me extremely uncomfortable. When I expressed my concern, the dentist became rude and mean in a very patronizing way because I spoke up about it. On a subsequent visit, I arrived a few minutes late wearing a boot because my leg was injured, and the escalator wasn't working that morning in the building his office is located. When I walked in, he gruffly told me to sit down and open my mouth, then jabbed me hard with a needle with no warning to numb my teeth, in what I believed was retaliation, after I politely requested his staff to stop violating my privacy. In prior visits, he informed me what he was going to do. After treating me disrespectfully, he then rudely lectured me on being a few minutes late, that one occasion, like I was a child and not a grown woman, never acknowledging the accessibility issues in his building that morning. His assistant took pictures of my teeth with a polaroid camera and X-rays at my first visit, but later claimed at my second visit, that they delayed that they didn't take pictures or couldn't locate them for my follow- up visit and took the same pictures again. I still wonder to this day, considering how violative they were of my privacy, what they did with the first set of pictures that I absolutely know they took. I should've never returned after that, considering how odd that my pictures disappeared. The first thing the lady did was take pictures of those teeth. I have always had bright white teeth; yet after multiple visits there, I noticed little nicks and stains in my teeth that were not there before I went. Be would sand teeth that he was not working on. I never felt comfortable with that, as I've never had a dentist do that before, which might explain the nicks. That was also the only time in my life where a hygienist cleaned my teeth and the dentist did not come in to check her work on my teeth after she finished. Is that even legal? The dentist also told me about a few of other patients that I had no idea were his patients, before he told me, violating their privacy too. He also repeatedly questioned me about my prior dentists, asking questions that I didn't believe was his business to ask. Ultimately, he became really mean and condescending at my last visit, in a scary way; his personality changed in such a bad way after I requested his office to respect my privacy, that I never went back. That was by far the worst most bizarre dental experience in my life.

Needless to say, I didn't have to go back, he had corrected the issue and my mouth felt better immediately. I have now been a loyal client going every 6 months for several years now, and am just as happy as day 1.

I am always greeted when walking in and not left to wonder if I need to sign in or if I am going to be left waiting or anything. I have always been taken back in a timely manner and have never had to be there more than maybe 45 minutes in total for a routine visit. Dr. Ott is super nice and a great dentist.
