There are two areas, one is designed for the younger children, and the other area for older kids, but most children over 4-5 should be able to play in either area. There are two drawbacks to this playground. 1) there are sometime porta potties available, but the park restrooms are not too close, and locked for the most part. and 2) there is no fence around the area, so you need to pay attention to make sure your kids don't wander. Everything is in great condition and extremely well maintained and the facilities are well used in the warm weather. Nice areas to have a picnic, walk a dog or take a stroll by the water. The boat launch tends to get crowded int he summer but there is a separate little areas just for canoes and kayaks so they don't have to wait for the larger craft. A very thoughtful touch indeed. A great park for just about anything you can think of. Whether you want to kick, swing, bounce, peddle, cast or paddle you will find this park to just about the perfect place.

It's covered in the coooolest graffiti on the inside and outside of cement tunnels and abandoned structures that you can walk through. I've never seen anything like it!
