Jamie rocked it!!!!!! She was able to accommodate a super last minute order, and delivered it to our hotel as we were coming in from out of town. The flavor was amazing -- I hadn't even realized it would be vegan, but the flavors of the funfetti cake with the raspberry filling were super punchy and bright. She went above and beyond on the design, working with me on our wild Hangover movie theme, even ordering a figurine gift set to top the cake and giving us all the extra pieces and accessories. My partner has a gluten allergy and he rarely gets to enjoy sweets and desserts, and this one made him SO happy. I recommend Jamie's Bakery to anyone looking for a DELISH, well-crafted cake for a special celebration!

Jamie created a beautiful cake for my daughter's birthday! I sent her a photo of the cake topper and she did the rest! The cake was gorgeous and delicious too! Her flavors are amazing!! My daughter loved the cake! We will definitely order cakes from Jamie again!!

If you're in need of a vegan/gf cake, then you know just how hard it is to find a bakery that offers both AND tastes good. As someone with a lot of food sensitivities and now little ones who struggle with the same thing, I'm happy to have found a bakery that checks all the boxes. Jamie put together a lovely gender reveal cake and cupcakes for me and here's how I feel about the entire experience: 1) Jamie is very friendly and super responsive and she just made the entire experience really wonderful. 2) My cake and cupcakes were simple yet really beautifully designed. She designed them exactly how I envisioned them. 3) They were delicious!! She was very helpful with flavor pairings and so many people commented on how good they were. People were asking me to send them her info so they could order treats for their next event. I will 1000% be back for all of the birthdays and future celebrations!

Amazing experience with Jamie. The cake wasnt too sweet like I asked for and its dairy free, gluten free, vegan. The guests loved it! She did my Hello Kitty theme cake for my 1 year old baby girl. Thank you Jamie. Will do business with you again!

We had our wedding cake made by Jamie and we could not have been happier with the result. I have a gluten, nut, and dairy allergy and Jamie was able to accommodate my needs and still make a cake that my wife (with no allergies) loved!

    Donald Duck inspired birthday cake

If you're looking for a beautiful and yummy cake to hand out for a birthday, she's the one to call! I've gotten this Donald Duck inspired cake for a birthday and it came out amazing! The cake exceeded my expectations look and taste-wise. It's truly a work of art that's also tasty which is the best of both worlds. Her desserts are gluten free and vegan but you wouldn't even know because it tastes so good. It was absolutely delicious. Great service and fast communication as well. Highly recommend!! PS. If you ever get the chance to order her Red Velvet cookies.. do it! They're the best and one of my favorite desserts out of the many she offers!

I have ordered and tried multiple items from this bakery and I cannot rave them enough! I've tried her cookies (red velvet is my favorite), personalized cakes, and some seasonal items such as her pumpkin crunch (the coconut whipped topping is to die for). You can definitely tell that she has a passion for baking with everything she makes. All her ingredients are fresh and mindful of multiple food allergies that people may have. It's amazing how she can make vegan and gluten-free goods taste so good! All my encounters with Jamie have always been professional and personable. I appreciate all her recommendations and notable touches to all her baked goods. Would highly recommend to anyone craving a sweet treat! Thank you Jamie's Bakery :-)

I love Jamie's Bakery! She is so kind and sweet, she is an excellent communicator with orders too! Her treats are just as great! I have a lot of food allergies and with her desserts, I feel completely safe eating them , knowing that they are all allergy friendly! I am so happy I was able to order a beautiful cake from her! Highly recommend especially if you have severe food allergies like me.

Jamie's Bakery is truly one of a kind. Jamie is highly knowledgeable of the common allergens when it comes to baking. Her cookies, desserts, and cakes are made for everyone to enjoy. If you have a question, concern, special accommodation, or request - Jamie will answer all of that in a timely manner. I am a repeat customer for a reason. I work in a huge office. With that, there are celebrations and potlucks every month. I have a colleague who has a list of food allergies. And I mean a lisssst of allergies. This colleague always takes the time to make others feel celebrated, but she is unable to enjoy the foods and desserts that everyone else can eat. For her birthday I wanted her to not worry about any of that, so I requested a custom cake from Jamie's Bakery. The cake was exactly what we have envisioned and it was free from soy, eggs, dairy, nuts, chocolate, and gluten. She even notated her allergens to bananas and corn. Where can you find a baker that is this detailed? My colleagues and I decorated her office desk and the cake was the center of attention. My colleague was ecstatic. She said the cake was so beautiful, she did not even want to eat it. Well, she eventually did of course. She ate the whole cake in one sitting for dinner! Thank you, Jamie, for making moments like this for everyone.

    Magnificent Vegan Cake!!!!

I can't say enough about the vegan cake I purchased from @jamiesbakery! Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but it was DELICIOUS! The craftsmanship was as exquisite as the flavor. Truly a work of art you can eat. Hats off to Jamie's Bakery for exceeding all expectations!

I found Jamie through instagram and I'm so happy I reached to her for my son's birthday cake and cookies! She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very meticulous and super detailed. I asked for a lot, design wise, and she delivered! My son is allergic to wheat and requires gluten free options, which is hard to find. But the cake and cookies were gluten free, so my kid was able to eat it. And honestly, most gluten free options don't taste that great. But the cake and cookies were delicious! I ordered a Hawaiian Chantilly cake and sugar cookies and they were a hit! My son keeps asking for cake cause he loves it so much. I will definitely keep ordering from her and I highly recommend her!

I have known this talented beautiful girl for years! So so proud of you! Cakes n cupcakes ive gotton are so delicious! Will def be back and recommend. Will be standing in line when you open up your own shop!

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
