This bakery has been on my list for a bit. Finally made it in for the first time. European pastries are my favorite. Lighter and less sweet than most of our USA desserts. The woman at the counter was very charming and we were able to bring in our pup; she offered a nice treat for our dog which was loved. The location is downtown Henderson in a vintage building. So quaint, clean, and cozy. Appreciate small businesses with quality food and excellent service at reasonable prices. Our three pastries were about $12 without tip. All were very tasty! Came in on a random weekday to check this place out because it came up on Yelp. It's a small and cozy bakeshop and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I got a cinnamon roll for myself and I got my fiancée a cinnamon roll and a triple chocolate mini cake. That cinnamon roll was sooo delicious! The bread is flaky like a croissant! I almost kept the second one...lol. My fiancée devoured the mini cake. I'm going to be returning for another cinnamon roll and to try some of their other pastries. read more

We had a cake tasting in August 2025 for our November 2025 wedding where we were introduced to a variety of incredibly delicious selections from Chef Flemming. Chef Flemming and his team baked our wedding cake for our intimate wedding and it was delicious. My dad, who was a chef for 30 years, was extremely impressed. We asked someone to pick up the cake and they ended up forgetting, but Flemming's team was very understanding and let us pick up the cake after hours. I love sourdough bread, so I went on Yelp to find a bakery who makes it fresh. Well as my good karma would have it, I found myself on Water Street in old Henderson, walking into Chef Flemming's BakeShop. Thank you Yelp! I proceeded to feast over all the eye candy, very pleased by the lovely displays. I was greeted by two lovely ladies who smiled and it felt like home again. I then asked for a loaf of their home baked sourdough bread. They offered a round & a square, and I opted for square and sliced. I asked how often they made their breads & was pleasantly surprised to hear "once a week, on Thursday"... So I was really feeling lucky since here it was Thursday morning! Then I had to try their famous "Princess Cake" and being of Italian descent, I also ordered the cannoli and tiramisu. Driving home I devoured the two crusty ends of the sourdough bread, mouth watering! Mmmmmm.... And finally home I toasted 2 pieces and then smothered them with Pesto Basil from Costco (really good) and added sliced cucumbers, tomatoes & arugula.... Thank you ladies and Chef Fleming for making my morning a veritable feast! I'll be back. Oh, and I'm saving the Princess cake for my two daughters who just had birthdays... hopefully I'll get a bite! I rolled up on an off moment (closed / terminals not running), and instead of the usual "sorry, come back later," Chef opened up, took care of me anyway, and basically said "you'll make it right when I'm open." That's not just nice-- that's character. And the baked goods? Exactly what you want: fresh, legit, no gimmicks, just good work. Water Street has some gems, and this is one of them. We stopped into this local bakery while visiting my mom, and wow--what a treat! My daughter was absolutely enchanted, especially peering into the glass case full of stunning pastries and desserts (we snapped the cutest photo of her just in awe of the display!). The seating area nearby is super cozy--she made herself right at home lounging there, and I can see us coming back just to relax with a pastry and a coffee. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the selection of baked goods was both plentiful and top-notch (pastries, desserts, breads--you name it!), and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered a custom cake for my son's 3 year old birthday party. I was so happy with how it turned out. We ordered chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and a simple vanilla filling. It looked great and tasted even better. It was so moist and although it was sweet it wasn't overly hurt your teeth sweet it was perfect. My son was so happy! He enjoyed every bite. This has been and still is my favorite bakery in the Las Vegas area. Located in Henderson off of Water Street, it is a charming bakery. Their variety here is awesome. They have breads, pastries and little desserts. Including gluten free which is a nice thing to find and it's clearly labeled. We stopped by to grab a few things to indulge in for our staycation, and even though it was less than an hour before they closed they still had plenty of variety. This time we tried their crumb cake (blueberry pecan flavor), apricot tart and bread pudding. They were all fantastic and hard to resist opening the box in the car and eat them before we got to the hotel. Chef Fleming was behind the counter this time and he truly has a passion for what he does. You can tell he puts love into each and every thing that he makes. This is truly a gem of a bakery l, it has something for everyone and the people behind the counter are so sweet and personable. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area. read more

My new favorite pastry shop!!! Even in Las Vegas, good pastries are hard to find. Having worked in pastries for a dozen years, I can truly appreciate the love in them. Located in Henderson in the Water Street District, it's a very small but busy place. We ordered a croissant which was flaky, a bear claw which was great, and a loaf of sourdough bread which I'm still eating on 2 days later. Will def be going to this Bake Shop more often even though it's a drive from our home. Well worth it! read more

All there pastries sweets and breads are out of this world delish! Everything is baked daily and the baked goods from the day prior are in bags for a discounted price which is great! The prices are affordable so we always get a box full for a few days and then come back for more ;-) lol......they are that good we have been hooked since day 1. Not to mention they use quality ingredients you can taste and nothing is overly sweet which we love. Our personal favs: sticky bun, chocolate & original croissants, cheese danish, cinnamon roll and the Italian bread loaf :-) so good!!!!! I walked in bakery last week, my first time there, I bought 4 different pastries they were delicious. I also asked if they made a Swedish flop cake, I was told yes. I ordered one and picked it up today. It was perfect. The Chef did a wonderful job. I am from the Midwest and the flop cake is very popular. I will be ordering more. Oh my gosh! So... Story time! Today (October 2nd) would have been my mother's 60th birthday. It was the birthday she was trying to make it to, but her body gave out on her. I looked at LOTS of bakeries and finely found this place thar makes my mother's favorite dessert... Canoli's. Let me tell you the bakery smelled amazing, their glass case FULL of delicious looking treats, and staff that are happy and personable (that goes a long way!). I bought 4 canolis (and was talked into a nut roll?) I didn't get to try the nut roll, but the canolis were AMAZING! Crispy crust, the filling was custardy with that hint of lemon zest and the little chocolate chips were delicious and not overwhelming the dessert. Chef Flemming's Epic Fail! Unfortunately, I ordered a birthday cake from Chef Flemming's BakeShop. I don't know what has happened to the place. I have been a patron since long before the Water Street revival. Today, I arrived to pick up a birthday cake I ordered a week and a half in advance. It was beautiful, but made incorrectly. The frosting was completely incorrect. Buttercream is not chocolate ganache. I was quite insulted that I was offered an item from their pastry case for the "inconvenience". That was it. I was stuck with an expensive, incorrectly made cake because the baker "misinterpreted" the order sheet. Needless to say, the recipient of the birthday cake was not happy. Since this is the second time I've had problems with a cake order here, it looks like I will be returning to Freed's Bakery on Eastern for future cake orders. If you're looking to order a cake for a loved one, you should do the same. read more

I love Chef Flemmings! I've become a regular here. I haven't had anything that isn't wonderfully delicious! His almond croissants are the best. Orange cranberry muffins.... Oh my goodness! Banana bread....wow. What can I say?! There is absolutely nothing I haven't loved here. Chef is incredibly friendly and the staff are always ready to answer any questions. Once again Chef Flemming's did not disappoint. My husband and I have been on a Low carb, low sugar diet since May. On my husband's birthday, I decided that with all our hard work and dedication one celebratory dessert wouldn't hurt. My husband LOVES Chef Flemming's Chocolate Crème Pie, so I stopped in to get one... unfortunately they didn't have any in the case, and when I told the young lady why I was looking for one, she said "hold on" not 2 minutes go by, and she comes out and says we'll have one ready for you before we close at 3. Hands down the best cinnamon roll in town. It's the perfect sweetness and texture. They also have day old bags where items are 50% off which is great to get so you can try menu items at a cheaper price.
