After coming here a few years ago, we fell in love with the food. We were so excited when Jamie Italian open multiple restaurants in Toronto...let's just say we are glad we tried it here first. So, when we return to London for a visit, it is the first restaurant we hit. We were not disappointed at all. Our server, Iryna, was very friendly and helpful with choosing our courses, and her recommended choices hit our cravings perfectly. Our small Seafood Salad is not what we are used to, but she convinced us to try it, and it was amazing. the seasoning, sauce, how it is put together is just right on point. My wife normally would not eat beats but she finished half of the beats. That's how good it was seasoned and cooked. My wife choose to have the Small Seafood Linguine. The seafood was fresh, for sure, and it was cooked in fish stock instead of the usual cream sauce. The seasoning was just brilliant! Everything come together just the way it should. My wife also very appreciative of the perfect portion. She could have more, but then she will have no room for dessert. To be honest, I was a little jealous of her dish and wish there was more. Not that I don't like my dish, because I love mine. The pulled lamb was braised in a LOT of red wine and Iryna was not exaggerating, as you can taste the wine but not the alcohol, so it was full of flavours. The pasta was cooked just right and complimented the lamb just the way it should. I could have more, but HAVE to save room for dessert. After much deliberation, we settled on The Ambassador. Normally, we could each have our own, but since we only had lunch three hours ago, we can't. The Ambassador was the right choice for us to hit the spot. The chocolate covered chocolate moose was just the right amount of chocolate, not overdoing it at all, and when have it with the ice cream and the toffee sauce, each spoonful just make your mouth go "mmmmm".

Friday evening and I was with an elderly friend who is a seriously fussy eater. Her dietary regime has many dos and don'ts and and when she orders I am often reminded of Sally from 'When Harry Met Sally ordering her salad. It is often difficult to find a place we can both enjoy but she was very much wooed by the 'Jamie' brand. It was easy to find something appetising for me but my dear friend spent time initially ordering off menu till I realised she had inadvertently created something on the menu. The waiter was more patient than he is likely paid to be. The outdoor seating was lovely this time of year and it is actually rare at Westfields as most places that offer space outside seem to totally avoid the sun. Equally, should the weather turn, the booths inside look cool and comfy. We were there pretty early and the service was swift but it did start to fill up pretty quickly and I can imagine that at full capacity the service would slow a little as its a pretty large venue. I ordered the Pesto Ravioli and my friend ordered a Tomato Salad with Salmon... When our dishes arrived I thought they just looked quite beautiful. Happy to say they were equally tasty and we both cleared our plates without much effort. I tend to do this but for my friend this is quite a rarity. I also opted for dessert (can't say no to Tiramisu!) It was quite scrummy and the orange zest added a new dimension. I'm a firm believer that the loos tell you a lot about an establishment and I was (strange as it sounds) delighted with the loos here. The staff were friendly, attentive, speedy and patient and I really can't fault the overall experience. I only gave it a 4 because it still isn't the best Italian food I've ever tasted and 4.5 is not possible. A pleasant surprise and Mr Oliver clearly takes putting his name to something seriously. Definitely going to be a regular haunt with this friend!

Great restaurant to stop for a cocktail or coffee and something sweet or grab a pizza with the family after shopping at the neighboring enormous Westfield Shopping Centre. Or great stop after taking a class at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School located behind the kitchen in the restaurant. Everyone at this location is super-friendly!!

Amazing menu. Food came out relatively quick. Italian food but were eating like Spanish tapas. Definitely recommend for family and groups.

Jamie's ultimate sharing plank, famous prawn linguine, jamie's fave meatball n bolognese pasta.

Good Italian place, a bit pricey but pretty yummy. Would recommend it for sharing plates so you get to try everything.

Prices reflected accordingly to being a hotel restaurant and thus higher than the standard high street Chinese food. Part of the Dorsett hotel outside Shepard's bush Green. Four stars is for the appetizer and general ambiance. The Lychee mojito with fresh lychee was a refreshing drink, but somewhat pricey given it's non-alcoholic. The sesame prawn on toast was the highlight of the meal, the best of its kind. The hot & sour seafood soup was quite good, a brown color rather than the red style that you sometimes see. Not that much seafood though. This part seems to be a trend here. Because the Seafood fried rice with black truffle sauce didn't have much seafood at all. Very small pieces of chopped shrimp, that way you have no clue how many shrimp they have given you. Then only a few small pieces of white fish. The egg tasted freshly cooked. Overall tasty but I need more seafood than this. The black truffle was spread out specks in the rice, it was not a sauce as advertised. Not really what I pictured at all. The Singapore noodles looks very nicely presented and with 8-9 large shrimp for £10 seems like a bargain, but it's very oily and no spice at all. And then the dish wasn't warm enough. It's too bad because it's a very nice place for dinner and the staff are quite good too. Ended the meal with Green tea creme brulee. The green tea is like a paste and not too sweet, the way I like it. I'm getting more and more keen on green tea desserts, maybe its an acquired taste for some. They also have black sesame ice cream which sounds interesting.

A lovely corner spot, always so warm and inviting, especially this time of year…read more... Whether it's a quick stop for coffee or a longer linger for brunch/dinner, you'll find a nice selection of Italian, smoothies, sandwiches, and drinks. In warmer months spill outside to the seating under the awning, and when it's rainy there's always a friendly seat inside. They'll likely even accommodate when you have an off-time menu request, as theh have for me. All this won't be news to the locals who frequent for the service and the food. Weekends you should probably book ahead, especially if you're looking for larger group accommodation. You'll have plenty of harder drink choices as well for those evening visits. I'll return and look for you there.

Had the chance to visit Rubio for a promotional night and it was absolutely brilliant!…read more The staff are super friendly and the location is very cozy and stylish. A little way off from the busy high streets, this restaurant occupies a beautiful corner space with a large patio and rustic, nostalgic decor. The pizza is delicious with a traditional crust that's not too thin in the middle, a very fruity tomato base and generous toppings. I tried the buffalo mozzarella pizza and it was absolutely stunning. Huge chunks of scrumptious mozzarella, plenty of rocket, a perfect combination. The back wall is covered in vinyl LP sleeves and there's a dj desk. We were lucky enough to have the owner spin records for us, which was a great accompaniment for dinner, a great excuse for some dancing exercise after eating and not too loud to stop us from chatting. Would definitely recommend this location!
