Chef Sean is the best!! The children display their work as an art show at the end of the school year which is a very special way to experience their growth. Looking back now, I can honestly say I couldn't have picked a better place for her. From the infant room all the way to preschool, every class she transitioned into was a great experience. Every teacher made her feel comfortable, loved, and welcomed. They all took the time to get to know her, and that meant so much to me. Every morning we'd walk in and hear, "Hi Mom!" and "Hi!" It may seem like something small, but it always made us feel welcome. Drop-offs were never difficult because she was always excited to go with her teachers, and as a mom, that gave me so much peace of mind. Another thing I always appreciated was how clean the center was. Every afternoon at pick-up, you could see the teachers cleaning and sanitizing while everyone worked together to get everything ready for the next day. It showed how much they cared about keeping the kids in a clean and safe environment. Their communication was also something I really appreciated. If she ever got a little bump or scratch from playing, they always let me know. They completed an ouchie report and either called me or went over everything with me at pick-up. I never felt like anything was hidden or overlooked, and I always knew what had happened. One thing that really stood out was how much every teacher cared, not just the teachers in her classroom. They all knew who she was, greeted her by name every morning, and made her feel special. It truly felt like one big family. Graduation was something I'll never forget. Walking in and seeing all the teachers cheering the kids on as they arrived honestly made me emotional. It wasn't just her teachers everyone came together to celebrate the children, and you could tell how proud they were of them. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff for loving and caring for my daughter over the last few years. They worked with him and he is doing so much better with speaking, social skills we are still working on but he has come a long way in short time. They make us feel so relieved to know that there are great daycares out there. The first week we got updates daily. Still to this day! Our 2yr old son loves his arts and crafts, learns so much as well. It is more than words to know that these ladies we can trust with our precious ones. The school offers fun after school activity days at least 2x each month, and they celebrate most holidays in creative ways. I have also been really impressed with the quality of the art projects, playtime, and learning of basic letters, numbers, and shapes. I also want to note that, even though it is a Christian preschool and associated with the LVCC church, and we are non-Christians (but people of faith), I never felt pressure nor excessive Christian messaging. There was always a nice respectful balance of lovely Bible quotes and prayers, while respecting that our family was not Christian. The faith-based preschool is really expressed in their love and honoring of the sacredness of childhood. Which I love! I am grateful that LVCC Preschool was my kids' first experience with school!
