He is very easy to talk to, goes at your pace, and is just overall a great therapist. I very much enjoy the fact that we can have really heavy sessions, and also some light hearted ones as well. After bringing up a possible disorder we had discussed, he even went the extra mile to learn more about out it after our session. He really shows he cares and wants you to be the best version of you! I would highly recommend him.

That level of care and intention is exactly what makes CARE Counseling such a powerful, healing place. I started seeing Amy at the suggestion of my psychiatrist in order to help with some sleeping…read moreissues through cognitive behavioral therapy. Honestly, I was extremely resistant - I didn't want to see a therapist, I didn't want to talk through issues, and I really didn't think CBT would help at all with my sleeping problems. I finally gave in, agreeing to "time box" the sessions to 10 weeks, just to give it a shot and see if it would help. After my first session with Amy, my wife and I both noticed improvements in my ability to fall asleep, my quality of sleep, and my overall mood and energy because of my sleep, within just a couple of days. Fast forward several months later, including multiple weeks of seeing Amy more than once a week. The 10 week "time box" is obviously well past, and I've begun to allow Amy and her expertise into more of my life and to help me deal with even more issues in my life, from being a better husband, father, employee, and just a better person in general. To be completely honest, I really wanted to not like seeing a therapist, and frankly, not like Amy. But now, I can't imagine my life without seeing Amy and having her help me through things, give me my homework, and help me to learn that I can work through mental hurdles with various strategies she's taught me. Amy has always been available - she's very prompt to return phone calls and even text messages when I have needed her, has been very flexible to work around my schedule, and genuinely cares about me and my family. If you're looking for a great therapist and someone who will care about you, get to know you, and take time for you, I highly recommend Amy. She's helped more than my sleep, she's changed my life and sticking with her past 10 weeks has been the best decision I've made in a long time.

This is very personal but it must be said: I went for some…read moregrieving counseling as I lost my brother at an early age of (64) had some anger and needed to deal with... first and foremost the therapist they recommended is 70 yrs and her memory is not sharp. Forgot all about the first session, called her out during second session and immediately started to apologize and blamed it on her age. She did not even reviewed her notes from first session. Did a review and stated my concerns and the billing reviews, just to get a general response but to their credit they said they would waive the charges. Yet I was charged because the manager "forgot" to tell the billing department. So I was credited for tow session and a missed one that was never scheduled. Today they billed my credit card again... no call no explanation. They make you give them your CC and they just bill you. I'm not saying all therapist are bad what I am saying is watch what you give them. Why do they force you to pay up front and give a CC. Stay away is what I would recommend... many places that do better and treat you better. BTW my anger has subsided due to me going to Mass and reading the bible. Kind regards Me

My experience with this practice became increasingly concerning over time. The therapist working…read morewith my child demonstrated a clear inability to navigate high-conflict co-parenting dynamics and missed key manipulative patterns that were directly impacting treatment. Despite repeated, polite requests for communication and collaboration, I received almost no meaningful updates for months. Only after escalating to the office manager did I receive any follow-up. The discharge documentation we were eventually provided was incomplete, inaccurately worded, and did not reflect the sessions. When I raised these concerns professionally and asked for clarification, the owners responded by deflecting, offering no acknowledgment, and abruptly escalating the situation by stating it would be handled through their attorney -- though no legal contact was provided. The lack of accountability, transparency, and professionalism from both the clinician and leadership is deeply disappointing. For parents navigating high-conflict or sensitive co-parenting situations, I would strongly caution against this provider. Balanced communication, discernment, and ethical handling are essential in those cases, and that was not our experience here. Our clinician was Linda Smith.

Unfortunately, from the beginning I felt unheard and like I was the problem. As an adult going to…read moretherapy with my mother, nagla seemed to instantly and confidently choose my mother as the sane point of contact. Meaning instead of helping my mother and I bridge our gap, heal and grow; The full year became sessions focused on me and how awful I am. I had no power as the two discussed how I'll understand when I'm a "real" mom as nagla and my mother have adult children and I only have my toddler, so I wasnot seen as an equal. Sessions endured with no regard to areas that needed healing for my mother and I. I was given goals, tasks and consequences while my mother was never pressured to do any of the like. Nagla constantly forgot the very few names brought up in every meeting, a fixed weekly schedule that we brought up every time seemed to be a surprise to her each time. sadly she didn't seem to care about my concerns as I was not the one paying. I found group therapy that helped me feel the confidence to post this. I feel better after stopping seeing her. It's been about 4 months and I feel much happier and confident again. What hurt me the most was in the first meeting, I mentioned the father of my son and him being estranged. the publicity of motherhood unwed and the accusations that came with it. Her immediate response wasn't any kindness but she had the nerve to ask how i know the father of my son is the father of my son and if I was sure and how could I be sure.
