Giving my LR tables an update wasn't why I purchased the products. My 26 yr old oak DR table had damaged finish on the top and I wanted some contrast so I choose Midnight after seeing a piece in the showroom. 2 coats gave me the exact look I wanted and coverage was wonderful with foam roller. No roller marks! Tuff top in matte w/paint added made it perfect. I appreciated the advice on the products and how to use them.

Beautiful costume jewelry, real jewelry, brand new power tools, antique items, the list goes on and on. The prices were very reasonable. There was a brand new 2014 iMac for $749. It was purchased for $2600. Everything was really clean. I forgot to ask the owners name, but he is really nice. He stayed open so we could take our time browsing. There is the cutest pug there, named Buster. That dog loves attention. He also appreciates dog treats. If you are out in the area, this place is really worth a stop.

I completely understand that coming in about 10 minutes before closing isn't ideal, and I was fully aware that the store closed at 6:00. I had no intention of staying past closing time. However, from the moment we were walking in they immediately turned Half of the lights off, and we were immediately told there were "less than five minutes" left, even though there was clearly more than five minutes until closing. After that, we were repeatedly reminded that they were closing. I understand giving customers a reminder, but I don't need to be told over and over again when I'm already aware of the time. What really bothered me was that at 5:55, an employee told us that they were closing, even though the posted closing time was 6:00. At that point, I knew I only had five minutes left and was prepared to leave by 6:00. It just felt like they were so adamant about getting us out that we were made to feel unwelcome for simply walking into a business while it was still open. If customers aren't supposed to come in during the last 10-15 minutes, then the store should have an earlier last-entry time posted. Otherwise, customers who enter before closing should still be treated respectfully.

When I've been in Crystal Lake other times, I've wondered about this shop but have either not had…read moretime to stop in it or it has been closed when I've been there. Today when I was in town I took the opportunity to walk around a bit. There are a lot of nice looking housewares and decor throughout the store. It's actually quite large, and had an upstairs design area as well. Lots of pillows, furniture, wall art, and so on. The women in the store were busy with other customers when I and others entered, but once she was done she came and welcomed us to the store and asked us if we needed any assistance. There wasn't anything I needed and between buying some other home decor items and spending money with guests visiting, I didn't really want to spend any money and just wanted to take a look around. There was one item I found, a navy-colored, ~leather, mirrored tray; however, when the two sizes were $60 or $90 and when I turned it over I there was a big made in China mass production sticker on it, which was pretty disappointing for a store that has so many items that appear to be locally made or at least have a local flavor. I would visit again to wander or if I was looking for something specific (and I'll bet they have some lovely things around the holidays). However, I'd try to learn about the origins of what I was buying and if it's just an assembly line piece to help me determine what I'd be willing to pay for whatever I was purchasing.
