On my way back to Chicago from Madison I was trying to make it in time to stop here and see what goodies I might want. I did indeed leave with some things and can't wait to put them up come October! But the best part was chatting with the shopkeeper. Lorraine is a gem! I spent more time chatting with her than shopping (I was able to pick out what I wanted straightaway!). Luckily there was no one else in the shop whilst I was there and I didn't keep her too long since I left at 5:00 exactly (quitting time). I will 100% be back because they have too many beautiful things that I want in my house.

Lots of Japanese, French, German, Greek, Vietnamese, and more specialty items. I love the imported Oreos from Asia. This is a store that's figured out the fine line between helpful and annoying. Because it's a consignment home goods store, you never know what to expect. You can, however, expect the prices to be pretty darn good and the quality to be top notch. The owner is really good at selecting quality pieces for the store. Both stores are located in a tiny strip mall. Parking can be tight when it's busy, but for the most part, it's not a bad lot. It's also located off the main drag, so it's not too hard to pull into the strip mall or out of it! Plenty of spring specific items out but also every day items. I got a fantastic wood sign for myself and a tiny one for my husband's brother and his wife. There are tons of different signs with so many different fun sayings. If you can't find something you enjoy here then I don't think it exists! Will definitely be heading back another time of year to see what seasonal items they have then.
