My mother in law came in today for a visit to get some work done, continuing on per previous work. You were so rude to her. Your snide remarks and snarky attitude were not needed or called for. The comments you made to her were so incredibly out of line, I can't believe you're allowed to interact with patients. Is this how you speak to your own mother or how you would like to be treated when you're PAYING for a service?! I truly hope you receive some training on how to act and how to treat patients. As for the rest of the practice, the least you could've done was honored the discount my mother-in-law has been receiving for her care. Affordable dental work at your practice is impossible so the discount was the way she was able to keep going to get her work done. You should really work on your patient interactions, bedside manner, and ethics. If you're looking for a great dental practice, keep looking. At my very first adjustment, I was told that all eight of my front teeth were at risk of falling out unless I underwent bone grafting surgery, which would delay treatment by at least three months. This concern was never disclosed to me prior to starting orthodontic treatment. Had I been informed, I would have addressed any surgical needs before beginning braces. I sought a second opinion, and that provider advised that bone grafting was not necessary at this stage. When I called to have my braces removed and to discuss my concerns with management, I was repeatedly told I would receive a call back. I did not. After multiple follow-ups, I was informed that the COO, Samantha Green, had reviewed my chart and decided I would not be receiving a refund -- despite the fact that I have never spoken with her directly to express my concerns. If you value clear communication, informed consent, and access to leadership when serious concerns arise, I would recommend proceeding with caution.
