Container all melted for to-go order before eating - think about all that plastic melted 'in' the food?!

Ordered about $100 worth of food for to-go order. Included some jajjang sauce and also spicy seafood soup, when I got home (20min from restaurant), all 4 containers were melted this way. I called restaurant and notified how unsafe this is and they need a better container going forward (very nicely), their respond wasn't great. - show us pic next time. Really? So here are pic of plastic melted soup

My authentic Korean food cravings were at an all-time high, and Jang Won delivered, ate, and left zero crumbs behind. I went with party of three, and we split the holy trinity of Korean-Chinese cuisine: perfectly chewy jajangmyeon drenched in a rich glossy black bean sauce, spicy jampong with seafood that slapped me awake in the best way, and the tangsuyuk--crispy, golden pork goodness in sweet and sour sauce so balanced it deserves its own Michelin star. Service was quick, the food came out piping hot, and the portions were enormous and well worth the price point! I waddled out of there full and happy, with the kind of satisfaction you only get when every single craving is obliterated in one meal. This place is now locked into my Northern VA "must-eat" list for every trip home. 5/5 stars. My only regret is that I didn't order more to take home.

Great service from the moment we walked in, and continued until we left. Never had to ask for water refills or bonchon. Menu was easy and prices reasonable. Wife absolutely loved her selection, compared the amount of actual seafood to other places. This one was packed full of mussels, a giant prawn - she was impressed I did black noodles, I ate it all, and I thought I would be thrown off by color, but flavor won me over. The fried dumplings were definitely hand-made and delicious. Great stop for lunch !!!

Tangsoyuk--medium size enough to share w several others.

As good as it gets. High quality Korean-Chinese food at prices just above fast food. Tried their Tangsoyuk (pork seeet and sour) just like my mom's and the Gan Jajangmyun (sir fried pork jajang) enough for several people. Also had a mild seafood dish , single serving that came w soup and rice--also shareable w several people. Others in the area are very good but this one is a standout! Apparently this one is popular at the Annandale location too. And service was great too! Ambience was diner like and busy even for a late Sunday night.

They always have courteous attitude. Food comes out in decent time but they do have lunch and dinner rushes and they would often be a packed full house during those times. Noise in here is typical but they do have private rooms on the side for larger parties.

Came here several times and food has been consistently good each time. Portion is pretty large so its good for sharing. Service is also pretty efficient! I typically get the black bean noodles, pork tang su yuk, or the jjamppong.

The Centreville Jangwon continues to keep up its standard. More than anything, I can appreciate that whatever new items I order, it continues to not disappoint. The omurice was fairly standard but I could appreciate it. The tangsuyuk continues to be one of the staples (especially the pork), and I think the jjambbong is one of the best in the area, balancing the spice and the heartiness of the soup. Make sure you call in advance if you have a large party and they'll certainly accommodate.

One of my coworkers told me her dad loves this place when it comes to Korean/Chinese. So, of course I had to check it out. IMHO there are three things that make a Korean style Chinese place shine. 1)jjajangmyeon 2) jjamppong 3) tangsooyook (fried pork with a sweet and sour sauce) and sometimes the dumplings. Bummer they do not offer the combo special on the weekends so I can try out both 1 and 2, so I settled for 2. The jjamppong was ok in a pinch. Lots of mussels included though :) Now, I do have to say... their portions are huge! I'll have to give it another try next time with other people to order other dishes since I felt this round probably doesn't really capture the whole picture of the establishment

I sought this restaurant out after finding out that it serves vegetarian jajangmyeon and the jajangmyeon was really good. Its a very popular restaurants among the locals and have all the classic korean-chinese favorites at extremely affordable prices. If you are interested in korean-chinese food or are already a fan this fusion restaurant is a must visit. The ambiance is of a pretty classic chinese takeout vibe and the service is decent.

Food was pretty good-- I especially liked the jjamppong and tangsooyook. Service was great-- everyone was super friendly. Ambiance was very casual, so best to go with family or friends.

This has been one of my favorite jjm places in NOVA for a while. Past few years, there have been inconsistencies, but this last time was just as good as any! It gets packed especially on weekends, so be prepared to wait. I love that they have combos, where you can get 2 thing in one bowl that has 2 compartments! half half! Food: ~ Jajangmyun: 4/5: Love the noodle texture and the sauce is packed with veggies and meat ~ JJampong: 4/5: comes with tons of seafood and has great spice ~Tangsuyuk: 3/5: nothing special. Pork was a little dry last time ~Jaeyook Bokkeum: 4/5: solid spicy pork. Flavor was good and portion was large ~Fried Dumplings: 3/5: ginormous dumplings! But flavor was mediocre and when we got them, they weren't as hot as I would expect. Definitely my go to when I get a jjm craving.

Very busy and hopping even for a Wed evening. But they are trained to handle the crowd so they are fast (82 82 style for those Koreans who are always in a hurry). We both got Jjam jja myun (half black beans and half seafood spicy soup) and tang su yuk because why not. I had hard time finishing the noodles so focused on Jjam pong (spicy seafood) side and loved tang su yuk. Something about Korean-styled Chinese food with fast Korean service really gets me in a good mood. Also ordered big steamed dumplings to go and ate one each for lunch for the next 3 days. Stuffed Korean-Chinese empanadas is what they are~~

Absolutely delicious and amazing restaurant that I will never get tired of. It's my 5th time back here and it never fails to keep me so satisfied with the food and stuffed to the brim. The Jjam Bbong / Jajang Myun combo is really worth it and I had to take back the Jajang Myun for dinner. The Jjam Bbong soup is literally my soul food on a cold day in late Spring. I am also a big fan of the warm barley tea served and the fact that we can walk-in without reservation anytime. Food is also always served so promptly.

Would do their black bean noodles and tangsuyuk. I would skip jambong tho. Overall slightly average Korean Chinese restaurant.

What feels like a hidden gem serves some of the best Korean cooking I've tasted. The bossam was incredibly aromatic and came with a massive portion of fresh kimchi that was cut tableside, making for a fun dining experience. Together, it was more than enough to satisfy two hungry diners. The banchan selection was equally impressive and paired beautifully with the meal. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming, while the service felt warm, genuine, and comforting, almost like dining in someone's home. My only suggestion would be to offer a more fermented kimchi option as a side dish. All of the kimchi we tried was very fresh, and I personally would have loved a tangier, more developed flavor. Overall, this is an easy 10 out of 10. I would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back.

The menu was extensive, filled with lots of homey options that I don't usually see in other restaurants. After ordering, we were served six different banchans, all of which were incredibly homey -- light and not too savory. My favorites were the acorn jelly (which was mixed with salted seaweed and sesame seeds) and the white kimchi. Honestly, all six were really solid. AL TANG - 19.99 Super savory with lots of "sea sweetness" and umami, this stew was rich and piping hot upon arrival. I've never had al tang before, but have heard great things about it. Unfortunately, I didn't love the texture of fish roe (kind of reminded me of the texture of cooked chicken lungs). By the end of the stew, I thought it was too salty, so I didn't end up finishing it. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't get it again. My friend got the mackerel which he loved. I'll look forward to other items on the menu next time.

We ordered the king donkatsu, Gimmari, Tteokbokki, and Fish Cake Soup, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Gimmari was surprisingly huge. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Next time, I'm coming back for the stone pot bibimbap and kimbap. I saw a table of non-Korean customers enjoying them cutting the kimbap like steak and eating the hot stone bibimbap with forks and they still cleaned their plates despite the huge portions That said it all. My only "complaint" is that the king donkatsu is so huge it takes forever to cut it into pieces... but that's definitely a good problem to have! The Food: I had their Spicy Tuna Kimbap, Spicy Pork Belly over Rice and their King Donkatsu. Everything tasted amazing. The Kimbap was proportionally generous and the spicy tuna was on point with the spice level. The Spicy Pork over rice was easily one of my favorites here. The spicy marinade on the pork was flavorful and the meat itself was tender and cooked just right. As for the Donkatsu, it was absolutely huge! A big piece of pork cutlet fried nicely let me in a food coma. The Service: Service was great. I ordered at the kiosk to see pictures of some of the food items, but you can order at the front as well. Food came out within a reasonable of time as well. They have a area for utensils/water and another area for you to bring your dirty plates after you're done, so that was nice. The Atmosphere: Spacious with plenty of seating. It pretty clean inside decorated with Asia/Kpop decor.
