The staff are really nice and helpful, very attentive and informative. And the selection was decent. The prices are great and the quality of the clothes is exactly what you would expect from Gap. There is nothing better than shopping in person at a store and trying the clothing on. You will definitely leave with a smile on your face because the clothes fit the way you want them to. I always go to check the stuff on sale first and they have a nice rotating selection with good prices. We had a great shopping experience at this Gap store.

For example, we wanted a specific size in a jacket, and the associate text the owner and got an answer for us within minutes. Now that's service! The store itself is on the smaller side. Kind of like a French time capsule- they even hand write their receipts. A beautiful shop for gifts and they carry an even more limited children's section. They also have two fitting rooms and accept card or cash. Lastly, they have a decent sale section, and I always score there!

One piece I picked up was a Patagonia snow bib and I can't believe my luck because my daughter, who's been in the 90%+ percentile since she was a couple weeks old, fit it perfectly even though it was a size 3. It was $60 at Gabriel's, and the same or a similar snow bib was $100 more at the Patagonia store. I also got a pair of nice mittens, and a great coat for my babe... really great finds. They have more than just clothing. There are toys, I saw some babywearing baby holders, shoes, books, and so on. They carry things by season I think, so definitely worth visiting every few months at least! They also post their items online, so you can purchase and arrange for local pickup or ship. I think the employee said that for orders over $75 shipping is free, otherwise it's $9. If you order for pickup, they ask that you do so within seven days. It's super helpful that they have a small gated area with some kids toys, which kept my daughter busy whilst we were here (kept her attention so well that I struggled to get her to try on a few things). The one thing that I wish they did have was some sort of dressing room. I don't like having to return things, so I want to make sure they fit on the spot! Also, since their return policy is 7 days for store credit only, making sure things fit properly is even more important to me. If the shop has any dedicated parking, I don't know where it is. Luckily, we were able to find some street parking right on Prospect around the corner from the store. It's also located in Uptown, so there's a good deal of free 3-hour parking in the area by the library and the other shops down the block.

Then, even though we were the only customers there she rushed through everything and had no interaction with our grandchild. We asked about the birthday bear special they were running which she explained, so we got that plus a second, much more expensive bear for our grandchild, but she charged us full price, not the special price she had quoted. We returned 10 minutes later when we looked at the receipt and saw what she had done. We got the money refunded but there was no apology and she was very unfriendly. Besides the horrible sales rep, there full-price bear seemed really overpriced and there was a real minimum of "building"/customizing involved. SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP.

My friend is the assistant manager at the Splendid store at the Old Orchard mall and suggested I check out the outlet on my journey. The store was clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and helpful (although they failed to introduce themselves so I never caught the name of the girl who helped me). I tried on a few items and unfortunately the cut wasn't right (the maxi dresses are not made for people 6' tall) but they clothes are really cute and so soft. I will definitely be back during one of my many future visits to the outlets.
