The staff are really nice and helpful, very attentive and informative. And the selection was decent. The prices are great and the quality of the clothes is exactly what you would expect from Gap. There is nothing better than shopping in person at a store and trying the clothing on. You will definitely leave with a smile on your face because the clothes fit the way you want them to. I always go to check the stuff on sale first and they have a nice rotating selection with good prices. We had a great shopping experience at this Gap store.

For example, we wanted a specific size in a jacket, and the associate text the owner and got an answer for us within minutes. Now that's service! The store itself is on the smaller side. Kind of like a French time capsule- they even hand write their receipts. A beautiful shop for gifts and they carry an even more limited children's section. They also have two fitting rooms and accept card or cash. Lastly, they have a decent sale section, and I always score there!

One piece I picked up was a Patagonia snow bib and I can't believe my luck because my daughter, who's been in the 90%+ percentile since she was a couple weeks old, fit it perfectly even though it was a size 3. It was $60 at Gabriel's, and the same or a similar snow bib was $100 more at the Patagonia store. I also got a pair of nice mittens, and a great coat for my babe... really great finds. They have more than just clothing. There are toys, I saw some babywearing baby holders, shoes, books, and so on. They carry things by season I think, so definitely worth visiting every few months at least! They also post their items online, so you can purchase and arrange for local pickup or ship. I think the employee said that for orders over $75 shipping is free, otherwise it's $9. If you order for pickup, they ask that you do so within seven days. It's super helpful that they have a small gated area with some kids toys, which kept my daughter busy whilst we were here (kept her attention so well that I struggled to get her to try on a few things). The one thing that I wish they did have was some sort of dressing room. I don't like having to return things, so I want to make sure they fit on the spot! Also, since their return policy is 7 days for store credit only, making sure things fit properly is even more important to me. If the shop has any dedicated parking, I don't know where it is. Luckily, we were able to find some street parking right on Prospect around the corner from the store. It's also located in Uptown, so there's a good deal of free 3-hour parking in the area by the library and the other shops down the block.

Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.
