I ordered the Enchanted Cottage arrangement premium size for my mother. I requested the flowers be delivered on Saturday before Mother's Day because Sunday was not a given option. The flowers were not delivered on Saturday because the delivery driver left them in the cooler. The arrangement was delivered on Mother's Day, which was fine, and actually more appropriate of course. However, the arrangement I paid for didn't look exactly like the picture on the website. Cheaper Chrysanthemum flowers were used to fill it in, which were not listed in the description on their website. The arrangement is supposed to come with white roses and spray roses, lavender stock and wax flower. It doesn't say anything about chrysanthemums. Also the bow wrapped around the vase was supposed to be purple or lavender, but it was white. I know it might sound like I'm nitpicking, and my mother was happy of course, but the order cost $90 and $15 of that was for shipping and she lives 5 mi away from the flower shop. I believe if you pay premium prices for a premium product you should get the premium product the day you're supposed to get it, and it should have the flowers that the picture displayed on their website has, otherwise, to me it is false advertising, which is a lie and a cheat. This is why I gave them four stars out of five. I'm not saying don't order flowers from them, but beware you may not get exactly what you are paying for. read more

I used to work out in the field where I had the opportunity to personally pick and deliver my wife flowers each month "just because"... for the past 2 years +, I work at an office and no longer have the freedom to do that. Jan just did the flowers for our wedding at the Log Cabin. She listened to my input in crafting the arrangements and everything was super beautiful from the table arrangements to bouqets to the cake toppers. She delivered the flowers to two separate places and everything was on time and where it should have been. Her prices were super reasonable (around the same we had priced out for doing the arrangements ourselves on fiftyflowers) but all the arrangements were super full and plush. Definitely recommend using Jan for professional quality flowers without the stress of trying to do it yourself. Everyone agreed that Jan hit it out of the park on this one. 10/10! read more

After using one of the big chains for years that had overpriced, garbage flowers that rarely showed up on time, I decided to try local and I am so glad I did. Jan's Flowers we're beautiful and included hydrangeas which are my wife's favorite. My husband called inquiring about an urn wreath for his mother's services and was spoken to in such a rude manner, only days into his grieving process. He was made to feel as if he was an inconvenience. He was asked the specific dimensions of the urn, which he didn't have and, when he shared when it was needed for, which was days in advance (not usually an issue for florists for funeral services) he was simply told, "nope." Unbelievable. I understand businesses are short staffed in the aftermath of the pandemic but this is such heartless treatment lacking any iota of sympathy and is completely unacceptable. To add to this review, friends used Jan's for their wedding a few years ago and, before they could even finish taking wedding photos after their ceremony, her bridal bouquet essentially disintegrated. I'd explore all other options before going with Jan's for your needs. read more

I ordered a "fragrant bouquet, florist's choice" for my aunt. She loved it.

My daughter sent me a floral bouquet from Jan's for my birthday. I was beyond thrilled with it. The bouquet arrived in a nice vase and it was HUGE. Lilies, roses, daisies, alestromeria, and many more flowers. All of the flowers were healthy and beautiful. The photo I have attached was taken today, A FULL WEEK AFTER THE BOUQUET WAS DELIVERED!!!! I had already removed about a dozen flowers that had wilted after opening, but as you can see, this bouquet was packed. My daughter informed me that this was the standard "florist's choice" arrangement, and that the price was extremely reasonable with free delivery. Very disatisfied with the arrangement (that I actually upgraded in size and paid more for) in that is was not at all as pictured online. Moreover, I am highly dissppointed in the way the shop owner, Jan McLean refused to work with me in resolving the issue. The arrangement was pretty but not the colors and flowers I specifically requested for this particular recipient. She asked what I wanted and when I suggested that a refund of half would be satisfactory, she became defensive, loud, and rude. Her other option was to "pick up the arrangement". Honestly.....how can anyone expect this to be the right solution - to take back a gift. She said she made an effort to copy the arrangement as shown, however, Ms McLean did not call me to clarify the order. Please make a careful consideration in ordering flowers from a picture online. I have used this shop in the past for birthday, wedding, prom, and most recently a funeral arrangement but going forward I will give my business to another flower shop in the area. Worst customer service ever! Ordered an arrangement online for flowers to be delivered that day. Received a confirmation email. At the end of the day received an email saying they canceled my order because they didn't have the right vase. I was devastated!!! Arrangement was supposed to be sent to an elderly woman who lives alone for her birthday. Birthday was missed and this company couldn't have cared less. They were so RUDE! I bought something off of their website for $20 and the day it is supposed to be delivered I got an email saying they can't deliver it for under $30. I bought it off their website and payed the amount stated there so saying that it is more expensive the day it is supposed to be delivered is just cruel.
