I've even found a cute plant for sale now and then. They have a whole section on scrap booking stuff, pottery, jewelry. The only thing I really dislike is the older lady that works there. She is so sour and looks at you with a frown at all times, I'm not sure if she's the owner or a worker bee, but either way, she is not good for business. Maybe be a little friendlier to the people coming into your shop to spend their money? It was a good size order. I wanted to send about half of it back. Well I opened the packs to actually measure the strands and examine the products, so that pretty much voided everything. I bought a lot, so I got a discount and they'd probably screw me over for that. I am making necklaces for a children's hospital fundraiser. I am using semi-precious stone beads/freshwater pearls, nice glass. This is coming out of my own pocket. I would be ashamed to use these beads, let alone take the time to string them. I learned my lesson and paid the "stupid tax".

The staff person immediately was curt and when asked to check with her manager, she returned to say all sales were final. The item I purchased was discounted but it did not say that it was a final sale on the merchandise or my receipt- which was never even asked for. I like to shop local when I can. But local businesses who refuse to kindly work with the consumer is why it's not easy to do so -their loss.
