They did a wonderful job on the flower arrangements for my mother's celebration of life. I provide the vases and her favorite colors. They did the rest. Everyone commented on how pretty the center pieces were done and how they reflected my mother's personality perfectly. Some guests took home the center pieces afterwards. Worst bouquet quality I've ever received. The flowers wilted within one day, I cut stems and changed water on the 2nd and 4th days, but each day more flowers had to be discarded. Clearly they were old, some stems were mushy on the second day. Today is the 6th day and all that is left viable are alstroemerias and ferns. Publix has better bouquets, and I'm guessing the person who sent me the flowers paid plenty. They can't blame it on the heat because the flowers went directly from their air conditioned delivery vehicle to my hands and into the house. What a disappointment. read more

We purchased (2) presentation bouquets at a total cost of just below $130. We told the florist that the graduation was the next morning. They said they were busy in the morning so we could pick them up around 4pm the evening before. We told them the colors: white, blue, and gold. We also said that we wanted "the color to pop" so they could use yellow flowers in for the gold. They asked us to prepay for the flowers - which we did. When we picked them up it was predominantly white bouquets with a touch of blue in the bunches of flowers (hydrangeas). Although disappointing and not what we asked for, we didn't mention the lack of color when we picked them up, because they were still pretty. When we picked them up, they said to cut a slit in the bottom of the plastic to put in water overnight. However, when we got home to do that, we saw that there was green tissue paper inside the clear plastic, so we couldn't put them in water or the tissue paper would've gotten soggy and gross. The flowers were wilted the next morning, so bad that we couldn't present the flowers. The wilted flowers were such a large part of the bouquets, that we couldn't take just those flowers out to present just the rest. We contacted them about the disappointing experience. They claim to have given very specific instructions, *which did not happen*, and doesn't make sense anyway for a presentation bouquet... The bouquets had 1) outside plastic secured with ribbon and a bow, then 2) tissue paper folded up and around the stems from the bottom, then 3) more plastic with rubber bands, and then 4) a wet paper towel with rubber bands. The instructions after the fact were basically that we should've unwrapped the outer two layers of taped plastic/ribbons and the paper of the PRESENTATION bouquets. We are not professional florists to deconstruct a presentation bouquet and then rewrap it. They offered a bouquet to enjoy at home - these were for graduations that already occurred. I asked for a refund and said if that's not possible then I'd share my experience so others don't experience the same disappointing experience we did. We made a conscious choice to shop local instead of going to Publix but it was the wrong move for us. Attached are photos and screenshots of our correspondence for full transparency. read more

We found this place while on a hunt for a florist to do my bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere for our wedding last November. We were having a small wedding nearby and didn't need a ton of flowers for our day. Several of the places we went to had bouquets starting at $200 just for their time and creativity and not considering which type of flowers you chose. Alan, at Green Bench was very friendly and very creative. I stated my likes and dislikes and he grabbed loose stems and tried things out until I had what I wanted and envisioned. I went with mostly daisies, and he picked many flowers to compliment it and I loved the unique greenery. Prices were VERY reasonable, and we got away for under $80. He followed up the week before the wedding by making sure we didn't need any additional flowers, and he also confirmed my order which gave me piece of mind. Our coordinator was able to pick up my bouquet, and he had even thrown in a free throw-away bouquet and a vase to keep my flowers in. The attention to detail was excellent. He even asked the shade of my dress so that he could match the stem wrap for me. We picked up the flowers the morning of the event, and I didn't see them until right when I was ready for pictures. The flowers photographed great, but I did feel like they weren't at their peak of freshness. It wasn't a big deal, as they served the purpose just fine, but the only thing keeping me from a 5 star review. I recommend this florist and I love how they are building customer relationships and not just billing out flowers as fast as they can. read more

If I could leave less stars, I would. My husband stopped in to grab a bouquet while he was in St. Pete to support local business, rather than hit up an online florist or a Publix. He asked specifically if the flowers were safe for cats, and without hesitation the gentleman said yes. Not "I'm not sure," not "Let me check," just yes. Taking his opinion as a professional, I displayed the flowers without hesitation. Well, flash forward a week, and I'm packing up my infant and rushing a very sick cat to the emergency clinic to keep him from DYING. We contacted them to let them know, and the owner herself remembered my husband and remembered her employee telling him they were safe. They refused a refund, and refused to cover the vet bill. This is unacceptable, and not only will we never be doing business with them again, but we highly discourage anyone else from it. Poor value, poorer service. read more

This group is awesome. I cannot emphasize enough how courteous, helpful and friendly everyone has been whenever I've done business with them. Today I needed to send something to a teenager - he wasn't going to want flowers, but they said they would run out and get cookies or candy and put together a basket for me with a couple of get well balloons. That extra something of just offering to do this was amazingly helpful. They easily could have said that they didn't have that option and sent me along to someplace else. I've been to their location a couple of times in the years past, and have always felt welcome. This is exactly why they are the first ones I call when the need arises. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service! I ordered a $50 gardenia bush that they were having delivered from their supplier. When I went back to pick it up they told me the supplier sold it out from under them and asked me if I would like an (overpriced) orchid instead. Against my better judgement I took it. I had it approximately a week and the blooms started falling off. I took the plant back and they said it was fine it just needed to be cut back, which they did. 2 weeks later the leaves all fell off, I stopped in again and was told sorry, we can't send it back to the supplier in that condition, we could've sent it back without blooms, but not without leaves. Huh??! Then why did you not send it back the FIRST time I brought it in?? Or better yet eat the overpriced orchid and give me something else rather then lose a customer?? read more

It's like being in a candy shop bc I love flowers! Lilly, sunflowers, and tulips. Oh my. I found out they cater to weddings. Pretty much to any event. The two gentlemen who runs the shop were very helpful. The guy with the pony tail has over 30 years experience and can coordinate any flowers into a bouquet anyway we request. While I was there, a bride was there as he made the bouquet for her at the appointment, no charge for the appointment. One day I'll get there with my bouquet lol. read more

I received a bouquet of flowers from my son and daughter-in-law for Mother's Day. And although very grateful for the gift of flowers, I knew if they had seen it they would not be happy. It was a medium sized bouquet, with no shortage of flowers. However, the flowers were not arranged nicely at all. They were pushed into the vase, different lengths and really didn't look like it was even done by a florist at all. Anybody could do a better job. I was very disappointed because the flowers that I bought from the grocery store the day before, which I put in a vase, looked MUCH nicer than this florist-made bouquet. It happened to be the same mixed flowers, mine were 2 bunches and looked like the same amount of flowers. The gift looked bad against mine. I am convinced the owner had not seen this one because there is no way she would approve of it going out. But it did! read more

Above and beyond service. These roses that were bought for an apology (yes I screwed up a little) are absolutely stunning. The guy I spoke with when I called talked me out of the traditional red and into whatever these are. Pink on the outside, peach on the inside. No not at all prom cheesy multicolored roses but legitimately beautiful flowers that are enormous.... perfect actually. Just want to say thanks.... you knew what I wanted before I did.
