I waited three days, and finally called Elite Foot and Ankle, in Lone Tree, spoke with the actual doctor (they apparently answer the phone when the receptionist doesn't), and got an appointment for the NEXT DAY. Avoid Red Rocks, or try calling when they're not out to lunch. Heh, heh. Very disappointing. They're literally down the street from my house, and also provide PT. But they blew it. If I need PT (foot is still in a walking boot, but I'm doing Pilates), I will absolutely NOT go to this unreliable place. I like businesses that return phone calls.

I was seen by Dr. Kruse several months ago for my right ankle. I had sprained it several times…read moreplaying football as a teenager and have been having constant pain. I have seen several other doctors throughout Denver, including a very large orthopedic practice, in the past and have had my share of bracing, xrays, and physical therapy. The pain never seemed to go away though. When I first saw Dr. Kruse I was very skeptical because of how young he looks; but after a more than thorough exam and education appointment I was felt confident that he would make me pain-free for the first time in years. We started with some shots and then moved quickly to an MRI. The MRI showed that I had a small piece of damaged cartilage in the ankle that probably has been sitting there for years. He taught me alot about what was the problem and gave me both conservative and surgical options. I have had other orthopedic surgeries in the past and this was the first time that I truly understood what was going to be done in surgery and I didn't feel pressured to schedule it with him. After discussing the options with my family (and multiple phone calls to the doctor for clarification) I went through with surgery which was all done through a scope. I had multiple appointments after the surgery to ensure that all was going as planned and 6 months later, I am pain-free and back to doing all the foolish things us Coloradans can do to hurt ourselves! I am very happy with my choice of Doctors and would not hesitate to refer anyone to Dr. Kruse.
