Do your self a favor and stay away from this dealership. We bought a new Mustang from them but they were anything but professional. Sales manager that is rude when we asked if there was any wiggle room on either of the two Mustangs (2025 leftover or 2026) "No that's the number" Not to mention the check engine light that appeared on and we're told "don't worry it'll go out, probably the gas cap". Then after all the hassle and horrible customer service we endured, the general sales manager speaks with me yesterday "wanting to make things right " offering some Ford credits. I told him I'd check with my wife but figured she wouldn't want anything but would get back to him. Which I just did and he didn't even pick up the phone. I can tell I'm on speaker can barely hear him and I stated who it was and gave him a minute thinking he would pick up the phone(considering the conversation we had yesterday about customer service) but he didn't . This is the worst dealership to have your vehicle serviced at. You'll wait four hours for an oil change even if you have an appointment, and if you ask the service manager Jeff why it's taking so long he will get confrontational with you in front of his service advisors and other customers and tell you " an appointment isn't the time your vehicle gets worked on, an appointment is just the time you get to talk to an advisor." They're great when you're a buying car, however after that sale if something goes wrong you'll be left waiting forever to get it back on the road. read more

Terrible and Unprofessional Service, I have used this place for years and I will no longer be returning. The last few years this place has been extremely discourteous and borderline incompetent in their Service Dept. It seems the good people that worked there are no longer present. I scheduled an appointment for this morning and had confirmation via SMS Text. They cancelled my appointment because the main shop is closed on weekends. Sold out from under me after they had already run my credit and taken all my docs. Sales guy could have cared less. Very disappointed. As a former employee and having done a lot of research online, I initially drove up to Jarrett Scott after getting an online quote for my 2004 Mach 1 for $15,500 - $17,900 and I was interested in a 2024 Mustang Convertible. They had a Blue one on the lot I was interested in. When I arrived, I ask to speak to the internet sales manager, Roberto. When He came out, he had expressed an interest in my car. My Mach 1 has been a show car, with 39,800 miles, so it was in pristine condition. In addition Ford only made 768 Screaming Yellow 2004 Mach 1's. So considering the age and mileage and rarity of the car due to supply and demand, it was easily worth the 15k-17k they had offered on the internet. I explained that I was a former employee, and I needed an Out the Door quote on the new Mustang, no trade, no down payment, just their best price, plus tax, title, license, and any fees. Well went inside and talked to Chaun the sales manager, and he put me with Derek but long story short I never got my OTD quote, and they only were willing to give me $11,000 for my trade because I was having AC problems. Well, I got the AC fixed. So, I came back two weeks later and was interested in 3 different used Mustangs. After some discussion with Chaun once again, he was able to work out a good price on a 2022 convertible Mustang with only 2,200 miles, which I was happy with. So, it was like new. And they were able to up the offer on my Mach 1 by $1000 from their initial offer. So, I agreed but needed to go home to discuss with my wife. Well, she agreed, so I returned to buy the car. Well, the new car is very nice. My complaint is with the trade. Giving me $12,000 and then they turned around and put it out on the lot for $24,000. Come on. I know they need to make some profit, but $12,000 seems excessive, and basically a slap in the face considering everything I pointed out before. I would have figured a profit of about $3000-$4000 would have been more than sufficient. Not to mention the excessive fees they tack on to the purchase of the new car. The dealer fee of $899.00 is ridiculous. That's like the grocery store charging you a $20 service fee for groceries. Think about it. Bottom Line is I am disappointed in myself. I did hours of research and still fell into their trap and let them control the deal with the usual payment, trade, approach, instead of working off the OTD price. Worst of all, not walking out on the $899 dealer fee knowing that everything but the tax, title, and license was negotiable. The lesson here is remember buying a car is a business transaction. Be prepared, know your cars trade value and stick to it. Leave the trade and money down out of the deal until you have the lowest OTD price. Stay focused on where you want to be and take control. Don't play the payment game and get your best price first, otherwise shame on you. read more

He completely understood that I was still looking around. He gave me all the information, but was not pushy. Less than a week later, I made up my mind that I did want that Mustang. Had one small issue with management though after I picked up car I noticed a small ding in rocker panel that was never disclosed to me,I contacted manager and he said they knew of this ding but opted not to fix due to fact that body shop said it couldn't be fixed properly with out being noticeable and devalue car. I will have car fixed at Dick Jarrett Ford in Dade city, Body shop there said it can be fixed with out any problems.I just don't understand why I wasn't made aware of this ding considering it's a Gt 350 R not a volkswagon I'm purchasing ! This past weekend I purchased a new car from Jarrett Scott Ford and the experience was great. We could not find the model/options we wanted in Southwest Florida, and after having one of the worst experiences ever trying to work with Coconut Point Ford, we found the car we wanted via the internet at Jarrett Scott Ford. We called Jarrett Scott Ford and reached the salesman, Manny Rodriguez. Even though we were going to take several hours to get up to Plant City, Manny said he would get the car prepped (just in case) and driven up front for us to look at. While we were driving up there Manny called and wanted to make sure we knew it was a stick shift (he didn't want us driving that distance to find out it was not the car we wanted). Manny was laid back and knowledgeable. Although my son is relatively young, Manny treated us both with respect. He quickly got us a very good rate with a local lender. And the finance manager, Brad, was also laid back and not obnoxious at all. A bunch of nice people at this dealership. They didn't give us anywhere near what our trade-in was worth, but for us time was of the utmost importance so we let that go. We had just spent a couple days at Ford dealerships in the Fort Myers area and they acted like we were stupid and, at times, lied to us about things we knew were lies. I contacted Jarrett Ford several weeks ago regarding my interest in purchasing a new Mustang. I was contacted by an internet sales-person. I sent them the specific details on what I was looking for. The lady said that she would get back to me. Now, three weeks later I have heard nothing. This is the third Ford dealer that I have been to- Walker and Currie are the other two- where the sale people are either rude, dismissive or just lazy. I am beginning to think that this is not a dealership issue but rather a Ford Motor Company problem. I don't know what or who has changed here over the last few years, maybe management? This used to be one of the friendliest dealerships to go to. The last few experiences have left such a poor outlook on ever shopping here again. Both instances involved salesman Mike. We went in to talk about turning in a lease early as we received a letter specifically from this dealership, which is where we originally leased, from Mike (a pleasant appointment initially) only to be told right off the top by Mike that he has not seen or heard of this letter we brought with us. He took the letter and went inside leaving us outside. He came back and said well it is what it says. We can turn the lease in early, which was a Flex. Now those who know of the Ford Flex knows of the high price sticker on it. We wanted to purchase this time and gave the monthly we wanted to stick to. He laughed a little and said you need an Escape. That's the only vehicle in that range. We immediately left and could not believe what we were told. We have bought at least 8 brand new Ford vehicles over the years and have never been treated this way. We took our business to Sun Toyota that same weekend and purchased a new Toyota Tundra XSPX. They were over the top helpful and courteous. Back to the second instance: even after having this experience my husband not only referred his brother to Jarrett-Scott Ford in Plant City, he drove him there as his vehicle died on him and he needed something quick. This was June 2016. He purchased a new Fusion. We are now in 2017 and I received an e-mail from someone at Jarrett named Ryan a couple months ago asking if I was in the need of a new vehicle, to which I responded no, I am very happy with my Toyota Tundra but wanted to check on a referral check that was due to my husband. He quickly responded asking for my information, my husband's and brother in law's. After giving the info he again responded very quickly that he has forwarded my info to Mike. We are now in 2017 and I sent another e-mail to Ryan and I couldn't believe that I received a call from Mike. He told me he has been researching my claim for awhile now and his records show that someone else initiated this sale. Basically we did not speak directly to him and were not entitled to the referral. I am posting this based on principle. I told my husband who was sitting next to me of what was going on as I was a little frustrated by what I was hearing. We drove to this dealership because they were the only dealer within 50 miles that had an F-150 King Ranch in the color and with the options we wanted. We actually made 2 trips to the location in 2 days. The salesperson, Brian Grafton, was a pleasure to deal with and very patient with answering my questions about the options on the vehicles. We actually had a choice between 2 similarly equipped and, of course chose the better equipped version. Brian was great to deal with, as were all the people there. The finance guy, Ricky, was just as abiding as Brian when explaining all the warrantee options and finance questions we had. 4 days after the purchase we left on a 7400 mile road trip and the King Ranch is the most comfy pickup I've ever owned. If you're in the military and you decide to buy a car here you better learn to work on it yourself. When I first brought my car in for warranty work it was a 4 hour job and I would "likely" have it back the same day. Since then I have been getting different excuses for 15 days. I had some paperwork neatly rolled up in a rubber band in the partition between the front and back seat. I got the paper out today because it is training documentation I need to review before my upcoming reserve duty. The papers are all crumbled up in the middle and have dirt on the outside. I can only assume someone from the dealership went through it since no one else drives my car. Maybe after seeing it they thought it would be fun to give a member of the Military the run around. I can't find any other logical explanation for their change in attitude towards me. read more
