Called them they tried to tell me that "cars do that sometimes when they have been sitting for a while" to "bring it back and we'll turn off the light" well I took it to another mechanic and they told me the car has engine failure and that the car needs a whole new engine. I could not afford to do that or even to get a new car so I figured I'd just have to drive it till it stops driving. Well 6 months later it officially is toast. Car wont start. FAILED engine. Mind you they charged me $4000 down payment and wanted $9000 total. 300 a month. ALLIANCE AUTO YOUR KARMA WILL COME AND BITE YOU IN THE ASS.

I brought my C300 in for service, upon picking the vehicle up I noticed the right, front passenger side wheel and tire was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. After several attempts to have the wheel and tire repaired due to their negligence during the after service test drive (that we didn't opt for or was told it would be driven), unfortunately Trevor refused to make this right. Additionally, I asked to see the before pictures and video that was mentioned on the phone, but was told there wasn't any. Any time a car goes in for service, a detailed report is completed by the technician, but I was told they do not do this. That's a bit concerning to me. Gagel's forgos the standard process which usually includes an 8 hour hostage situation followed by a bit of waterboarding. During which time the "customer" is either convinced the dealer "knows just what you need," or they breakunder the pressure and do as they are told. The salesmen at Gagel's allowed me to try out vehicles at will. Any questions about previous use and any previous "injuries" to the vehicles were met with frank discussions including photos of the damage that had been repaired. Since I had narrowed down my choices before arriving the entire process took under an hour. I left with a low mileage car that looks, inside and out, like it just came off the factory floor. Each car I tested was similar in that the mileage was low and condition top notch. There was no junk. How refreshing. If other car dealers took the lead from Gagel's and resorted to honest, low pressure sales, perhaps the reputation of the used car industry would climb out of the gutter.... I never thought I would say this to a car dealer---But it was a Pleasure doing business with you.

Later when I took the car to my mechanic in Tampa that I trust to do a check up, he said the car was in pretty good shape despite being 10 years old and that he knew of Durbin and had good things to say about them. Only negative is being such a small used car shop the selections are very limited, but I will look there first whenever I'm in the market for another used car.

I purchased a used truck from Victory Auto Mall in St. Petersburg in September 2025. At the time of…read moresale, I was told the check engine light would be repaired. Since then, I have returned the vehicle to them multiple times (including three trips from Fort Myers), and the issue was never resolved. I was eventually told to take the truck to a dealership for repair. The vehicle has now been diagnosed with a bad transmission and inverter. The extended warranty sold at the time of purchase does not cover all of these issues, leaving me with significant out-of-pocket costs. I withheld a remaining $1,020 of the down payment due to the unresolved issue tied to the original agreement. Instead of resolving the matter, the dealership placed a registration/tag stop, preventing me from renewing my registration, and has stopped responding to my calls. I am currently attempting to resolve this directly and through formal channels. I will update this review based on how the dealership handles this situation moving forward.
