Some of the best tacos I've had in Houston hands down! Lucia and Cynthia gave me outstanding service and made me feel welcome. Everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared. Will be back for sure and will recommend.

I'm giving this five stars because the tacos were just that good. Plenty of flavor. I have the beef brisket tacos. I visited about 1:15 for lunch and the crowd was light and the turn around was timely. I sat there and enjoyed my tacos there are some tables where you can sit. You can get the combo that comes with a drink and runs just over $8. Overall nice spot and I recommend as well will visit again.

The guy working there stated that its a food truck based on mexico D.F cuisine. I mean i never been there, but im Mexican and grew up eating Mexican food so trust me on this. We only stopped by because the place was aesthetically pleasing, it had tables for you to dine on and was surrounded by lights. But the food was just a big waste of money. My burrito was $12!! Like man i thought the were going to be big since they are called Burrito California. But i was wrong they were small, and they tasted below average (they were bad). Since they didn't come along with anything i decided to order some cheese fries, but those where also not that great. I didn't eat the tacos but my mom said they were bland and just horrible. My dad got the torta and he liked it. The churros where good though, and also let me add something more tragic. The salsa. The women working there label their sauces as not spicy and the other very spicy. I tried the very spicy one but for me that was a very mild sauce, im not a person who east a lot of spicy food, so this just tells you that it was not spicy at all . The people where nice though

I had the fish taco and it was awesome. Pure ambrosa! They offered 4 different hot sauces which were all good. The brown bottle is the hottest with the number 7 on it* I also tried the cubed beef with lime juice which was also yummy with avocado added for like .25 There is a choice of flour or corn tortillas with a dollar difference for the two* Cheese is also additional but worth the small upcharge.. I definitely recommend this food truck as I did not get His name but He was very nice with minimal English LoL*

I stopped by Jarro Cafe on a random day and honestly wasn't even sure they were open when I pulled up. I was looking forward to trying their Al Pastor tacos but unfortunately they were not serving them that day. I ended up ordering the fajita and Chicken Pastor tacos. The service was not great but I usually don't expect much for grab and go places like this. After trying both tacos I can honestly say I would stick with the chicken tacos. The beef was tough and not flavorful at all. The chicken was full of flavor but a bit dryer than I usually like. I know Jarro's is a well known spot but I will mostly not be back

This truck is about as good as it gets. I have been eating at this place for about 2 years. Ownership has changed and its still pretty good. The torta is excellent along with the chicken tinga. Update: 3 years later: this Taco truck is the best in town hands down. It's a gem! I don't care where you live, you must try this place.

WORST taco truck in town. The bistec is like rubber, I had to spit it out bc I couldn't chew it much less swallow it. What they call Suadero was lousy and the woman at the front is extremely rude and unprofessional. Please please please if u don't mind driving outside of the energy corridor go to one of the actual best taco trucks in town which is El Taquito truck on Richmond and Dunvale.

Wow talk about delicious and authentic street tacos in Houston. Great prices and all the salsas have kick. Worth having to sit on a single picnic bench outside to eat;).

Jarro has been in the neighborhood for many years and I can't believe I only recently just tried it! Everything is made to order and it is always fresh, the meat is juicy and full of flavor, and the staff is very nice and pleasant. I love trying something new every time I go and I've not yet been disappointed. I am typically hesitant to go to food trucks but after speaking with the owners and getting to know them, I am very comfortable with their food safety practices and I have eaten here at least 4 times this month! Highly recommend!

Corn tortillas with fajitas meat and chorizo, sliced onion and cilantro avacado and churros. Everything was delicious and nicely priced!!

Corn tortillas filled with beef/chorizo and onion and cilantro with a slice of avocado...loved it!!! I'll be back for lunch before I drive back home. The churros were amazing as well. Great food with my beautiful wife, awesome day!

Because 3 tacos weren't enough...had to go back for a 4th! Yup, that good!

Decided to stop on a whim. So glad I did. These tacos are legit amazing! I found my new taco spot!

Would be 5 stars if they had homemade tortillas. Beef, chicken and pastor were tasty and fresh.

The Pastor was the best Pastor taco I've had in Houston and the citrus notes complemented the pork outstandingly.

Came here because my BF wanted to show me what his late nights at Rice were like after a few beers…read more I was tempted to order more than just the hot dog, but we had a heavy lunch. I swear the Bulgogi Fries were screaming my name, though. Yoyo's Hotdog - Yoyo--YO. This thing slaps. I definitely craved a Coke or a beer while eating this because that salt kicks your taste buds' *ss. The caramelized onions paired with the crunchy onions were a double whammy that could topple a few hot dog title holders. The real winner, though, was the sauce--definitely something Asian-inspired. But hey, I'm running on five hours of sleep, and that's the best my smooth brain could come up with to describe the experience. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

I got their famous hotdog with spicy mayo, french onion, sautéed onions, and hot sauce. (That's how it comes standard) don't get me wrong it's definitely a lot going on from the flavors and the messiness of the dog, but the flavors balance out very well and the all beef hot dog is delicious. There's no spice from the mayo or hot sauce so if you don't like spice you'll be fine. I also tried their bulgogi fries which came with bulgogi meat, jalepenos, cheese and cilantro. My first reaction was it was delicious but it wouldn't be something I would get again, but after I kept eating it I realized this is actually really good and now when I go back I'll definitely try it again. Overall I definitely recommend this place to visitors or even locals
