This place is pretty good! I had their birria tacos here and my husband got 4 street tacos. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was speedy and the seats are outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband and I decided to take the tacos to-go since it was cold outside but this place is pretty decent for some street tacos!

I guess this is chicken? I asked for green salsas and none was in there after telling me there was some. I went back and asked for extra and they wanted $1 for a TINY bit in a baggie.. he took my bag and inspected it like I was lying..... STINGY I won't be back, el Toluca is worth the drive and you can get at least 4 tiny salad or more for free instead of one tiny salad for 6 tacos. The chicken isn't bad but it's MID to say the least. Staff wasn't too kind... the cook was nice though! :)

I've been in town for less than a week and I've tried Los Tacos food truck twice already. I've never had anything close to how good their tacos and birria are. Everything was made to order. A must try if in the area!

    No salsa!

It's either they overcharge you or missing the salsa. Poor customer service. Never coming back and do not recommend this place! Always check your receipt before leaving. It happens twice to me and they have to issue a refund.

We came here at midnight after a flight bc it was one of the only places still opened and I being the New Yorker that I am- decided I wanted to try all their tacos and got one of each flavor offered. The birria is by far the best one, I loved it. The Al pastor followed it closely. The chicken one and the pork ones were super dry and the tripa although it had great flavor was not for me because of its texture. They forgot to add sauces to our to go order and all in all, this was super affordable in my eyes and a good meal. Would I come back? Maybe for some birria if next time I find myself in Houston this is the only thing opened- but it's def not my favorite. It was just convenient and a good meal for someone starving after a 4hr flight.

Taco De Trompos (I already ate the other 3) with onions, cilantro, onions and sour cream

OMG!!! These are the bomb!!! I have drove pass several times late night drive home and I when I would get stuck at the light the aroma would make my stomach "feed me!" I finally stopped and I'm glad I did! This place has became me and my daughter spot and I will say she is a picky eater. There are 2 spots that this is located one is on Clay and Barker Cypress at the gas station and the other location is Keith Harrow and Greenhouse near Cy-Lake HS at the gas station. Price- Cheap! Tacos are $1.00 The most expensive thing on the menu is $5.00 and really that is still cheap too. The Truck- very clean, good music playing and service is very good! The food- I had the Taco De Trompos the meat is like on a rack like a chicken shawarma. The meat is tender and very well seasoned, with everything fresh. On my taco I got the works cilantro, onions and sour cream. They are regularly done on corn but I like the flour better. Make sure you squeeze some lime because that really brings out the flavor. If you are ever in the area and need something good like night definitely go check them out!

When I think of good food taco food trucks a Clay rd doesn't come to mind to find them. Los Tacos is the bomb. The green salsa is the best and they are not stingy with the portions. The parking lot is always busy but that's ok because they have the music blasting while you wait for your amazing and delic food

    Steak Burrito

This place is AlWAYS packed. I have been driving by this taco truck for sometime now and finally made the stop to give it a try. The menu is limited to tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tortas. On the weekend charro beans with or without meat are added as a menu option. You can pay with a credit card however the charge $1.00 for this option. The have salsa, limes and pico de Gallo in baggies to take to go. They also have tables set up under a canopy and play music if you choose to eat there. On our 1st visit we tried the steak burrito and steak torta. Both were filled with a decent amount of meat with a tasted pretty good. I feel like it's the same as what you can get at the Michocana only these have more meat. Of the salsa that is available I did not care for the red one which has an earthy roasted taste. The green one is really good though, I smothered my burrito with it. When visiting parking can get tight in the gas station but it seems like the gas station attendants are ok with you parking wherever a spot is available.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty busy, especially during Saturday lunch. There is also plenty of parking available across the street. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and felt so authentic to Mexican culture. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.
