A quaint hidden gem, especially if you love slightly offbeat places. Jarrod's is a coffee shop, an art gallery, and so much more. You'll find coffee, tea, baked goods, live music and art, against an eclectic background of gothy-vintagey knick knacks. They have lots of events - haunted goth nights, dirty mic events, poetry, and comedy. They also sell jewelry, crafts and paintings. There are different rooms you can explore, all filled with unique items and art. You can sit indoors or outdoors. I had tea, my friend had coffee, and we shared a baked good that was honestly really delicious. Service is super-friendly. There's a designated parking lot on the side of the building.

Moody artistic coffee shop. All of the walls are covered in art for sale, as well as jewelry and trinkets. People are very friendly! Chocolate filled croissant and coffee was delicious.

My best friend and I came into Jarrod's yesterday for a beading class that was hosted there. Upon arrival, we noticed that parking is a bit difficult. I did not see any actual parking spaces, only street parking. The shop is located in a Historic Home in downtown Mesa, which makes it very unique! We noticed a piano, guitar, microphone- apparently they host lots of performances. Definitely fun for those who enjoy live entertainment. The man at the front counter was friendly. He gave us details on all of the upcoming events, including one that involves Snoop Dogg's dad apparently?? We were also told that they would be hosting a "Dirty Mic" event that evening, which just so happened to take place at the same time as our jewelry class. The drink menu was hand written, hung on the wall near the front counter. There was also a small display shelf off to the side that held some of the baked goods they offer. It was not until after we ordered that we noticed they offer a few breakfast & lunch sandwich options. That would have been nice to know, as we were starving and expecting to have a light dinner before our class. Instead, we settled for a cream cheese danish, as recommended by the guy at the counter. The danish came out on a glass plate, dusted with powdered sugar. It was grocery store quality for sure. I can't remember how much it costed, but would not order again. It was very cold (maybe still defrosting???) I would prefer room temp or even a little warmer. My best friend also got a unsweetened hibiscus iced tea (comes with 1 free refill). She said that it was very good ! I got a medium blended Caramel Kick with whipped cream. The coffee was alright! I probably wouldn't order again, it was $8, which seemed a bit steep compared to other shops in the area. There is plenty of seating inside & outside. However, inside near the front counter is very congested- between people, tables and all of the random decor. There are many rooms that you can go into and enjoy all kinds of artwork, artifacts, and plenty of seating. This gives it a more private feel. This would be a great place to come and catch up with a friend or study (before open mic starts). To be fair, we were forewarned about open mic being "dirty" and completely unfiltered. I see where that is fun for some. However, it did kill the peaceful vibe of our beading class.... All in all, it was a unique experience at Jarrod's. I would never come in here for a cup of coffee or pastry. However, I would possibly come in for an event or as a place to connect with a friend. This place is definitely one of a kind! I'm happy we had a chance to check it out.

Molded pastry

I was sooo excited to finally try this place after it being on my list of coffee places to try. I stopped in and got a white chocolate latte and their blueberry cheesecake pastry, only to get home and take a bite and find mold inside of the pastry. I was very, very disappointed and disgusted that this was served to me. Hope I don't get food poisoning now because of this. I have no words but will not be back to this place.

The new place is so cute! It's adorable and it really feels like home. You have art and local businesses and more in this coffee spot. They just moved so they're still feeling the place and making it more Jarrod's. I had a coffee and it was so good. The muffins are a must! Especially because they are made from a vegan baker. Hello?!?! I'm a huge blueberry muffin girlie and this one was my favorite! A must visit!

4.5 if it let me rate it that way! This place is an artsy vibe right off the bat. You can park on the side of the road and walk up to this little house that hosts events on weekends while being a coffee/tea/drink place. I got a chai and it's delicious. The coffee was strong so it wasn't my favorite so be aware if you are a sweet and smooth coffee person. The service was friendly and super informative on this place. Come here with your friends and check it out! You can also buy from small vendors inside trinkets and jewelry.

Everything here is such a vibe Their French artisan bread is *chefs kiss* and you've got to order a lavender vanilla latte, thank me later!

We visited this place on Super Bowl Sunday. It was kind of quiet but we stopped by to get a drip coffee and a black iced tea. I'm not sure what team they use but it was really delicious and had a natural sweetness to it. I husband can be pretty fussy about his coffee. He ordered a black trip and said it was pretty good. They have some bakery items that look good, but we didn't try any on this trip. This place is kind of fun and funky. They sell jewelry, paintings, and gift items.

I moved next to downtown Mesa not too long ago and just recently made time to explore the area. Jarrod's Coffee, Tea & Gallery is in the heart of downtown Mesa near a light rail stop. I have only been here once years back. Jarrod's is more than a coffeeshop. They display and sell artwork, vintage jewelry and crafts from local artists and have live music and poetry nights. They also have a monthly cannabis membership. You can check out their event schedule on their website. Jarrods has a nice variety of coffee drinks, teas, and Italian Sodas on their menu. They also bake all their pasties in house. I picked up a couple goodies to eat over the weekend along with some drinks. Jarrod's is a great spot to hang out and do some networking or to just chill and listen to some live music. The staff was very welcoming as well. Jarrod's Coffee has recently fallen on hard times due to inflation, rising rent and theft from a former employee. The community has been great in raising funds to help them out. Check out their GoFundMe page and help support a great local business.

Had a lovely visit here and hubby got a lavender latte. Not my favorite but theirs was delicious! I highly recommend! The ambiance here is incredible and lots of Interesting art to look at along with jewelry/ all for sale. Check out the back room also. I'm definitely coming back!! For more coffee, tea or unique art.

Everything about it just feels right -- the vibe, the people, and especially the food. You can tell they actually care. The staff is super welcoming and generous, not in a forced way, just genuinely good energy from the second you walk in. Food-wise, they don't miss. The honeycomb with cream cheese inside is insane -- sweet, rich, and something you don't really see anywhere else. The Dubai chocolate latte is a must-try too, super smooth and indulgent without being over the top. The beef samosas are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the chocolate pistachio croissant is easily one of the best pastries I've had in a while. Honestly, every time I go I end up trying something new and it's always solid. You can tell they put real thought into everything they serve. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I came across Moka & Co while searching for the best Dubai-style coffee in the area, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Dubai iced coffee is really good--while it didn't quite top the one I had in New York, it definitely ranks as my second favorite. The only downside is the price. A 16 oz drink was $10, which feels a bit steep for a medium-sized coffee. Overall, though, it's a great option if you're craving a Dubai-style iced coffee without leaving Arizona.

I also love the story behind this place starting online and growing into a physical bookstore that now carries such a fun variety of books, plus the cutest hip and trendy merch (hats, book pins, shirts, and more). The coffee is good, and their menu is surprisingly extensive. I ordered the cookie butter latte and was genuinely impressed by both the size and the taste. On top of all that, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whether you're looking to study, find community, or just yap with fellow book lovers, this is such a fun and inviting space!

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.

This place was a burger king in it's forever life, but all of the old signs of plastic booths are gone, and that have been replaced with wooden tables, industrial metal chairs, a bar height communal table, and a leather sofa/chair conversation area. I love the beamed ceiling and the mountain scene made in wood on the wall. We ordered an iced turtle mocha and a cold brew. Both were delish. I never drink black coffee, but the cold brew was so good I would drink it black. We also ordered roast beef melt, panini style, and the ham and Swiss melt, also panini style. Both were yummy. They were each served with a pickle and a bag of chips. There were several people working on laptops when we were here. They even have a printer available which is a huge plus for people here working. There were several rainbow flags and even a rainbow themed drink of the month, so this place is definitely lbgtq+ friendly. This is a great little spot, and I certainly see my self returning.

I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

The lemon poppy seed matcha was really good as a matcha, meaning the matcha was delcious and easy to ddrink. Not a lot of lemon flavor in it tho but the quality was good so no complaints. Their pastry selection is lacking however, this might be because we came a little later in the day but there was not a lot of options.
