They were the only company that provided a detailed estimate to us. One roofing company gave us just a dollar amount and nothing in writing. Another roofing company provided an estimate but it had very little details as to what additional costs could be possibly incurred if there was any underlying roof damage. They weren't the lowest priced estimate but they were competitive with the lowest estimate received. We selected them because their online reviews were excellent and honestly those reviews are well deserved.

My experience with this company has been very good, starting with the initial visit and inspection through the installation of the gutters and downspouts. Of all the roofers I had out to give estimates, Blake and his team were the only ones to physically go up on the roof to do an inspection. All the others merely stood on the ground and did visual inspections. Blake also gave a very honest assessment of the roof's condition (i.e. that it could last another 2-3 years) whereas all the other roofers just said it needed to be replaced. This honesty was one of the reasons I gave Peerless the job. Their estimate was also very detailed, so as to make comparisons with other bids easy, whereas some of the "bids" were nothing more than a contract to sign with all the details done verbally. Once the job was started, the crew worked extremely hard, from 6:30 in the morning until after 6 at night. All landscaping was covered and the group did a conscientious clean-up when the job was complete. The gutters were done the next day and that crew also worked very fast and did a great job. All in all, Peerless did a very professional job from beginning to end. While not the cheapest company, I felt that the job they did was well worth the cost of the contract. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

Mike then wrote a full report for me, with pictures, to submit. Solar company rep came out, Mike even took the time to come and meet him at the same time. Solar company admitted fault and will now repair my roof at no charge to me. Mike didn't even get the job, which I'm a little saddened by, because the solar company is going to do it, but his professionalism and going above and beyond saved me about $8k and at a time when I'm trying to sell my house. We also had them put gutters up in front and on our pole barn. The front gutters seemed to be installed correctly but the pole barn gutters were installed improperly and fell to the ground with the first snow storm. We asked Charlie to fix/reinstall the gutters since his employees did not properly secure it. Charlie stated he would fix it so as installed properly. Then we received a contract to pay for wood to install the gutters and were told he would not fix it unless we signed the blank estimate. There wasn't an amount on it, so we told him we wanted to know the extra charge (we didn't feel we should have been charged anything, but would be willing to pay for extra material if that's what we needed). Charlie then stated he needed to charge for more labor costs and materials, and said he has to "take care of his boys" and said he would charge us to reinstall it properly (as if it was a new project). He refused to fix the issue his employees caused and now we're out the money we originally paid to have gutters put up and have to pay someone else to do the job correctly. We do not recommend them and wish we'd read the Yelp reviews when the contractor (who built the porch) recommended Charlie Copely.

As homeowners we don't know how to deal with them and they take advantage of us. I worked with Sterling exteriors. The rep came out circled the hail damage and came out and walked through the damage with the inspector. He acted as my advocate and I ended up getting new siding and gutters. They just finished the work this week and it looks great. With no out of pocket cost and the rep actually added trim and a few other items on their own. The rep you deal with makes a difference. I worked with Mike O'Brien at 847-703-0299. He was great. Mike kept me updated the whole way through the process. My experience with Mike was exceptional.

I had Sterling Exteriors out to quote on some soffit work that I needed done. They came in…read moremid-September but told me to wait until the end of October to book anything because it would be less expensive. So I waited until the end of October and called. I was told that they were already closing down for the winter but that they had a guy that they worked with who would honor their quotes and do the work. They came back, did a quote, and took pictures to share with their guy. A few days later their referral came out and measured everything. Sterling Exteriors then confirmed what day their guy was going to be coming out. I arranged the financing on my own and had them back out to sign the paperwork and give the the deposit check. When I was giving the deposit check I was told that at that very moment, their guy was out buying the supplies. We were all ready to do. 10 minutes later Sterling Exteriors called back and said that there guy wasn't going to be able to do it because of "a number of issues, but mainly manpower". So they had provided pictures to their guy, confirmed the start date, were in the process of purchasing the required materials, and had a signed work order and deposit. And all of a sudden the guy who was all ready to go couldn't do it. So I said that Sterling needed to do it themselves, but was told no, they were closed for the year and that there was nothing that could be done. It's plainly obvious that Sterling Exteriors under quoted the work and that neither their referral nor Sterling Exteriors themselves would honor the pricing I was given, and that I was being given the run around as to the reason why. When I confronted Sterling Exteriors about this they stopped replying altogether. Very shady business that won't honor their own pricing even after the contract was signed.

The workers were polite and hard working. Eugene came back the next day for inspection to make sure the job was done to his standard, and picked up every bit of trash the workers missed due to darkening daylight the evening before.

I can happily say that our new roof (and more) has done exceptionally well. We contracted Euclid Roofing and Siding back in September of 2023. They had a large number of jobs of ahead of us so it took them a little bit to get out to our house. This was not an issue really, we expected this and had planned for it. While speaking with them and discussing other jobs we needed done we went all in. Roof, new insulation, siding, windows, and new rain gutters with leaf guards. We were not persuaded to do all of this, these were jobs we already needed done. Euclid merely provided us the best price and ease to get it all done in one easy sweep. Everything came together fantastically. We have noticed cheaper heating and cooling bills (due to new roof and siding) and the house is much more comfortable. We have even been setting our thermostat lower in the winter because the house holds on to the heat much better. My only regret is that we didn't do all of this much sooner. Our new siding is a vast improvement over the old and really made our place look much nicer. Euclid was friendly, efficient, and did a great job. They worked around my wife's extensive garden, and not a single plant was harmed. Highly recommended.

Steven Grimm from Wolf Development was at our house in less than 2 hours after we made the call. He checked everything out. He took a lot of pictures of everything. After some discussion we decided to go with Wolf to replace our roof, siding, gutters and downspouts. Steven called our insurance company right then and filed a claim. He did all the follow up with our insurance company to make sure all the damage to our house was covered. He also did all the work with the county to get building permits. (5 star customer service) When the project was ready to start the roof material was delivered. We also got a dumpster and a port-a-potty. All this was placed on the edge of our driveway such that we could still get our car in and out of the garage. Steven and/or David (owner) visited the job site frequently. Their crews got a lot done in one, long, work day. The roof, gutters and downspouts were fine. We did have some issues with the workmanship of the siding installation. Steven and David came out to look things over. They found a number of items they didn't like. They had their crew out the next day to make fixes. We have shutters on a small window on the garage. For some reason the shutters didn't fit after the new siding went on. New shutters had to be ordered. A crew member said he would tell David to order the new custom shutters and it would be about 4-6 weeks. We waited 6 weeks and called Wolf. Apparently the shutters hadn't been ordered so we had to wait an additional number of weeks. It seemed to us that David had forgotten to order the replacement shutters. Instead of admitting he had forgotten (as we would have understood) various explanations as to why the shutters had not been delivered to the warehouse were given. The siding was finished mid-August...the shutters were finally put up mid-December. Steven and David also did some custom work for us to hide the ugly wire from our roof-top TV antenna to the lower level of our house, for that we were most appreciative. Thanks.

He came out the following week to inspect my roof indicating that he'd handle everything and wouldn't need me around for it (I work full-time). A few days later, he presented me with a very competitive quote for a new roof.
