Unfortunately, I could not hear the woman's name. I went to the salon today and asked to speak with a manager, and actually met with the owner (Mr. Carmen- apologies if that is not the correct spelling). He listened to my tale and asked if I could wait 10 or 15 minutes and he would have one of his stylists fix the issue. That stylist ended up being a wonderful man named Jesse Z. He was able to diagnose my issue immediately and assured me that bobs are his specialty. He was not lying. He was able to make my hair look great. But Salon Alure did not just simply have someone fix the problem. When I was checking out...they not only did not charge me for today's fix (which I expected)...they gave me a gift certificate for my next visit as well. I certainly did not ask for that, nor was I expecting it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative. I know everyone has a bad day now and then, Lord knows I have had my share. But my experience today with Salon Alure has renewed my faith and I look forward to my next appointment with Jesse. I have a lot of experience with facials and this rates as one of the best I have ever received. Yuliia took time to understand my concerns and my goals for the facial and she worked her magic. Immediately after the facial my skin looked and felt amazing and several days later, I can still see and feel the results. My skin is smoother, the tone looks more even and my moisturizer is working better for me. The environment is very clean, relaxing and inviting, too. I started a few years back with my legs. Wearing shorts in the summer and shaving constantly was not an easy task when you have thick, dark hair and light skin. I now have completely smooth hair free legs. It's impressive how well it has worked on me. Michelle is truly an experienced professional and knows exactly what she's doing. She makes sure you've had no sun or anything that could compromise results. Very caring with a great personality and takes the time to explain things well. Always making sure you're comfortable and uses different laser levels to have the best outcome depending on hair growth. I couldn't ask for better results. The office is very clean and welcoming. The appointment time set aside for you is scheduled perfectly with no wait time when you come in. I also think the rate is very fair here. There are a lot more places near me now for laser hair removal than when I first started with my legs. I still only go to Michelle for any new areas I've added over time and touch ups if needed. Loudoun Laser is an hour away from me and worth the trip!

Last night on 11/12/24 around 5:30PM I had decided to come in and get my eyebrows done. I have been…read morecoming to this business for years, literally since I was in high school. I have always enjoyed getting my eyebrows done here and would constantly boast about this business and their talent in their field. I only get my eyebrows done about four times a year. I always pay $20 on their $11 eyebrow service, and leave the change for a tip. I went in last night and asked to have my eyebrows cleaned up as I have always done. When she gave me the mirror she turned away and didn't even look me in the eye. I figured, "Hey, I come here all the time, these people are professionals, they always do me right." No....the lady that had serviced my eyebrows had left them at different lengths, different curvature in the arches, and an extra sharp tail on one side and not the other. It hurts to have a business that you have trusted for so long with your cosmetic care to intentionally cause for humility and embarrassment in your life. Of course hair grows back but it's ridiculous that I would even have to deal with this issue with people who claim to be professionals, when they are clearly not. I will NEVER go back to the eyebrow threading business located in the Apple Blossom Mall ever again.

When I was in the chair the women doing my eyebrows proceeded to ask me if I wanted my mustache threaded, I said no bc I have only peach fuz and it isn't noticeable in that area, then after she finished my eyebrows she asked again and I said no for the 2nd time, I was a bit annoyed by this because they asked me twice after I said no once, when I got back to my car I saw my left eyebrow was cut from the threading and drew blood and left a scab and she never told me about it in the shop that she had cut me, I have never had a bad experience before this and I will not be returning because I feel it is unacceptable to cut a client and not tell them.
