Dr. Sheu and her staff are extremely well versed in making a child feel excited about visiting a dentist. My kids constantly ask me when their next dentist visit is going to be. They have state of the art equipment, tablets/screens playing cartoons for the kids while they are being worked on to alleviate their anxiety, to a prize/token system that rewards the kids for brushing their teeth and committing to good hygiene. Today was when Dr. Sheu did her magic. My daughter's first adult teeth began to protrude out behind her two baby teeth. Although her two baby teeth were very loose she refused to wiggle them due to fear of pain. I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Sheu and due to the trust and bond my daughter had built with Dr. Sheu, my daughter agreed to have Dr. Sheu extract the two loose teeth. Dr. Sheu was very patient with me and my six year old. She provide a detail explanation of the process and made the experience pain free for my daughter. Dr. Martinez and his staff are amazing, they are always so friendly and they make baby girl feel so comfortable. She had a cleaning her 6 month check up a couple days ago and forgot to post about it. So doing so now, they have an arcade in the waiting area which is so cool, and plenty of seating for everyone. The parking is a bit small and it looks like a house from the front on Brea Blvd. its such a cute dentist office. They have tvs on the ceilings with movies playing they had red panda which is one of our favorites. They did xrays and cleaning and no cavities for baby girl again yay. She loves coming here, I enjoy bringing her, Dr. Martinez usually comes in at the end after they do the cleaning and xrays. It's been getting harder to go to the dentist because of his sound sensitivities and anxiousness to non routine days. We went to the surgery center down the street for my son to be put under anesthesia to do a check up and he had an extraction while there. The whole team was so wonderful from start to finish! Thank you Dr. Hu, Dr. Kawada, Teresa and the sweet receptionist! My husband and I were so nervous because we weren't sure how much work needed to be done and how our son would do.
