They even delivered to my house, a pneumatic cryo shoulder brace, because they thought it would help with my pain and recovery. To my house, they personally brought it to my house and showed me how to use it! He's not on any kind of pedestal--he talks with you, not at you, which makes a big difference. He's also at the top of his field, with patents for orthopedic surgical tools and a technique he developed called the Later Technique. My recovery has gone smoothly, and even my home PT said that Dr. Dungy's patients consistently seem to recover faster than average. Can't see me for at least ten days and that's in the middle of a period where I will be out of town. What's the point of giving me a Card and saying to call them and they will get me in right away. I said I wouldn't come back if he didn't get the authorization right then, which he did. I asked if he'd seen a copy of the MRI my doctor had sent. He did not. He then went searching for it and found a typed readout, not an MRI. The first thing he always says to me is, "are you ready for that new knee?". I've told him several times previously that I could not afford the down time. All I need are removal of torn meniscus and a cyst that would greatly reduce the pain. He's just not interested. I will go elsewhere from now on.
