Happily, called Ray when I needed assistance with finding another property in the Ashland/Medford…read morearea. He helped me a couple of years ago on an Ashland Railroad District property that has worked out very well. This time I was doing a 1031 exchange, so I had time constraints. I wanted to find something for my brother, and I must admit, we were not that good at making a smaller region for Ray to focus upon. Ray was great about taking my brother around. He was also very patient with both of us; he was likely frustrated, but did a good job of not showing us! We had to back out of an offer because of inspections. We had offered on another. Ultimately, my brother found a just listed property on a Saturday. This property was one that my brother and seen years earlier, and had interest in. This also happened to be the Saturday that Ray had specifically said they he was not going to be available. Ray stepped up and got existing offer withdrawn and agent of new property informed of interest. He set us up for first available appointment. That all happened early in the day, so Ray was actually able to carry on with his "off day." We got in contract on my brother's dream house, but that did not mean that Ray sat around waiting to collect his commission. The sellers and their agent did not make the process easy: from scheduling inspections and viewings to arranging occupancy. I was stressed out, but Ray took more of the brunt of it. Ray put the closing on hold -- I had already signed and did not know that that was even possible. I had visions of having to involve lawyers to actually get the prior owners out. Ray went above and beyond to ensure that the proper occupancy agreement was in place. He was there to collect the keys, as the prior owners left per the agreement that got signed before we proceeded to closing. This is a very long way of saying: Ray has been a wonderful agent for purchasing two properties. I highly recommend him.
