My son enjoys talking with everyone in the office, they definitely make him feel welcomed. At the end of the appointment, my son gets to pick a toy and gets a goodie bag (toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste) which is always the highlight of his day. Growing Smiles White Marsh is a newer location. The rooms where the appointments take place are big, bright, and very clean. The Dentists do a great job caring for my son's teeth and explaining to my son what they did to his teeth during his appointment. Also, the Dentists always make sure to take time to address my questions which is important. So glad to have Growing Smiles.

Both of my kids were welcomed upon arrival with their names written on a large blackboard wall. They were extra excited that they could watch whatever tv show they wanted WHILE getting their teeth cleaned. Though this feature was available, they ended up being more interested in learning what Dr. Ball and her team were doing. Each tool was introduced to them first and they got to explore them before they were used (ie.feeling the suction on their hands). Everything was tailored to my kid's comfort level from the toothpaste flavor, to the bright lights (cool character sunglasses are provided!), to the survey that is to be completed beforehand asking about any special interests to make conversations and treats personable. It was overall a wonderful experience and I am so thankful we found a dentist that knows how to make it a productive but fun experience for kids!

The dentist office has everything I've ever looked for for my children. They are so comfortable here. The staff is so educated and experienced and work so well with children. Today was my three year old's first dental visit and this is now the only dentist I will ever take…read morehim to, no matter where we live! He took to the books and toys available in the neat, clean waiting area right away. The front office staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The dental hygienist came to get us and was so incredibly warm, bubbly, and friendly! She had an infectious grin and laugh and praised him right away for practicing his "ahhhhh" on our way to the exam area. She gave him choices of colors for sunglasses to wear so the bright light didn't bother him, choices of toothbrush colors, and went back and forth the whole time between addressing us, asking us questions, giving us information and interacting with him. She followed his lead on everything! She listened to him, she gave him space when he needed it, and told us her goal for the first visit was to introduce him to all the elements and tools of a dental cleaning - the mirror, the saliva sucking tool, etc. She listened to the way we prompted him and supported him and quickly used a lot of the same language when working with him. The dentist then came in and picked up right where the hygienist left off. He listened to us and to our little guy, gave him choices, gave him space, and was able to change his approach quickly and easily if he could tell what he was trying wasn't working. He even asked the hygienist to grab some prizes in order for him to see them in the hopes it would encourage our little guy to participate when he was feeling ready to be finished. The dentist wound up billing us at a reduced rate because we didn't get the full cleaning and exam and asked us to come back in order to do the rest of the appointment at a later date. When making the appointment, the receptionist made note of any characters or small prizes our little one is most interested in. He is already talking about getting more red race cars the next time he goes to the dentist! I can't recommend this place and its staff highly enough!

They are all so great with kids and so gentle and understanding. I went to another dentist before this but I am staying here because this group has spent more time refining the details of the experience for children and it helps remove the fear. They also praised him for how well he brushes which had been such great reinforcement, I often remind him before brushing 'the dentist said you are so good at it' and it's all helped a lot.

Dr. Doshi and her assistant are consummate professionals with excellent bedside manners to put a young child at ease. The practice is ultra-clean, and modern. We didn't have to wait at all, kept our masks on as required, and washed our hands after we were confirmed for our appointment. We were ushered to our dental suite and Dr. Doshi's assistant interviewed us about dental hygiene as we waited for Dr. Doshi to attend to our child. Our child was so at ease with with Dr Doshi, and the examination, cleaning, and fluoride treatment took about 45 minutes from the moment we arrived until we were done. Overall a great experience for our child and we highly recommend this practice for your child's dental care. Our child had a very positive experience at the dentist. A point of note at this time they only allow one parent to come into the practice with a child.
