I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care. He responds, "We're not replacing the implant just the crown." This is not what was discussed prior. He also admitted he didn't know if replacing the implant would help but there "might be a correlation". In summary, sounds like he was trying to use scare tactics to persuade me into getting expensive work done that I didn't need and he got caught when I called him on his bs.
