We've been using Jason and co to walk our pup for the last few months, and we've had a great experience! Previously we were using Rover, and we had a good experience but wanted something more consistent. My partner and I both work in person 5 days/week, so it was sometimes a struggle to cobble together walks based on individual schedules of Rover walkers. Now, Luna has two regular walkers who she seems to love! And I don't have to worry about her during the day; I know she's in good hands! They are very responsible and take great care of her. It's easy to schedule/change walks and chat through the app. Before we even set up walks, Jason called to get to know Luna and our needs to make sure this was a good fit, and the manager Gillian came by to meet Luna and see our place/get instructions. They never send a new walker alone - the manager or another walker will train with them first, which makes me feel good. While we're paying more than we did through Rover, I feel like it's well worth it and would highly recommend them!

Jason and his team of dog walkers are all incredible, reliable, responsible, and caring people. I cannot recommend this group of people enough--I know that when my dog, Sophie, is in their hands, she is going to have a great day. They are always on time, send messages (and pictures!) about their time together, and I can tell Sophie is with someone who genuinely cares about her. I've struggled in the past to find a dog walking service who cared as much and you can stop here--you will find all the best with Jason and his team. I've also used their dog sitting services for a trip I took that lasted a little over 2 weeks and their team was incredible--they took care of my home and dog and communicated every step of the way. I love this team so much and they are a big part of my community here in Brooklyn.

Jason and his crew have been walking our dog George for the last five years and they've been amazingly reliable, trustworthy, responsive and friendly. We even get daily updates and photos! We recommend them whole-heartedly!

Gerardo sends us the best photos of our sweet girl. She loves walking with him and her other walkers!

We've been using Jason's services for a year now and they are wonderful! They're reliable, professional and accommodating. More importantly, you can tell the walkers TRULY enjoy spending time with the dogs on walks (and send some real cute photos, too.) Our dog gets so excited to see her walkers and her furry friends, and we are so grateful to have caring people involved to help her get some exercise and socialize while we're at work!

Jason and his team of walkers are awesome. My dog is a bit of a personality, and she doesn't love everyone unconditionally at first, but she loves and trusts them - and so do I. Communicative, friendly, reliable, and great rates. I recommend Jason the Dog Walker to all dog owners I meet in Park Slope. Shout out to Chris, Saruh, and Iggy! Mellie says hi

Let me take you on a journey. You're young and naive, you adopted a dog during the pandemic. The rescue told you that she is a very chill dog. She is, in fact, not chill. She is under-socialized and fearful of everything. You look for a dog trainer. Without doing any research, you accept your neighbors recommendation of Corey Harden K9. It is the worst decision of your life. We set up our consultation meeting at our apartment because one of our issues was resource guarding of the space. Our just rescued 8-month old dog Sona is a Shepherd mix, very guardy so she barks at the door and at any sound in the hallway. Corey came in and literally kicked Sona. She was so afraid that she peed in the apartment. After a few minutes, Sona did get used to his presence and began to display more soft, curious behaviors like sniffing and going up to lick Corey. So as obviously insane as the situation was, we went ahead and booked Corey as our trainer. We were stupid and overwhelmed - this guy's a professional dog trainer and says all this is normal, who we were to disagree. (All this to say, don't judge me for staying with Corey as long as I did. I need to emphasize again that I was a real life moron and knew nothing about dogs at the time.) We mostly wanted to work with Corey on leash manners. Sona pulled relentlessly on her martingale to the point that she was choking herself, and she will pull through that anyway. It made walks deeply unpleasant. She was also leash reactive. At our next session, we met at Prospect Park for a walk. Corey immediately put her on a prong and popped her VERY hard on the collar. Sona yelped loudly. Thinking back, Corey is lucky that Sona is a sweet dog and did not redirect at him for that. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with communicating with your dog that there are things you want/don't want, but he consistently applied unnecessarily harsh corrections. He wanted us to start our training with Sona at the Nethermead at Prospect Park during off-leash hours. Anyone that's been there knows its quite chaotic, dogs everywhere! At this point, only a couple weeks after rescuing Sona, we have not had time to form a relationship with her. Yet he ONLY wanted us to work her off-leash at the Nethermead, where Sona would just ignore us and ignore food/toys to dart off with other dogs. Then he would harp on us for not working hard enough? Again, thinking back, this is a horrible and dangerous approach. We should have been on a long line, probably on one of those patches of grass off to the side of the main field so the other dogs were in sight but she still had enough distance to focus on us. A few sessions like this was enough to convince us that Sona was untrainable and that we were horrible dog parents. The entire process left us feeling so defeated, and of course, Sona's obedience and fear aggressive behaviors got worse throughout the entire time. During one of our training sessions at the Nethermead, a man was walking towards us to get through the field. Sona immediately rushed to him and started barking at home, ignoring our recall and we were unable to redirect her with play and food. Corey was literally there, he witnessed this behavior and with a straight face said "don't worry about that man, dogs have a sixth sense so they can tell when someone has a bad vibe." Um, does this sound logical to you? Does this sound like something a professional dog trainer would say? Anyway, we clearly never worked on desensitization or counter-conditioning for her fear of strangers because Corey was delusional and convinced us that Sona is a medium that can sense vibez. Of the few things we did right with Sona, crate training is the one I'm most grateful for. Absolutely no credit goes to Corey for this because we crate trained her before we started working with him. However, I can credit him for undoing all of our crate training effort because he encouraged us to crate her and BANG ON HER CRATE REALLY LOUDLY whenever she barked at the door. What was once a nice, cozy, safe place to relax became a really confrontational space. Once, he took Sona for a pack walk. He brought her back an hour later with four bloody paws, she needed booties and couldn't really walk for more than 10 minutes outside for several weeks until they healed. After using six or seven of our ten session package, we decided that we're done. We never communicated with him again, ignored all his messages, and didn't even ask for the remainder of our money back. In the time that he worked with Sona, she went from friendly but anxious to straight up aggressive. I wish I could go back in time to before I worked with Corey, I believe Sona wouldn't have developed severe behavior issues it it wasn't for him. Sona is doing great now, we got a real trainer and she's thriving.

He's now a playful little dog, ready to walk (most of the time) and to have fun with other dogs. As much as I'd like to take credit for his progress, I think Dave and our dog walker Phyllis have much more to do with it. Phyllis is a great dog walker. Her love for animals is obvious. She helped us get Ferdinand ready to walk with other dogs, always leaves detailed feedback if Ferdinand is more anxious than usual. She was a great support as we also welcomed our third son back home, advising us on how to behave with Ferdinand, and sharing some very helpful kid friendly videos for my two older kids so they learn to play safely with Ferdinand. Ferdinand is now very well adjusted to our family, and us to him. We feel very fortunate to have found Dave's Dog Duty to help us transition from a family with two children and no pets, to a family of three children and a dog.

This place gets my highest recommendation! If you've been searching for a trustworthy grooming…read moreservice, look no further--you've found it. It's beyond professional, immaculately clean, and super friendly! My pup is incredibly hyperactive (and not exactly a fan of other dogs), so grooming has always been a challenge--for him, me, and any groomer brave enough to try. But with the wonderful groomer Iryna, something truly magical happened at this place. It felt like an instant connection (seriously, like it was made in heaven! Haha). The level of care, patience, and skill here is simply unmatched. PROFESSIONALISM Pet City Grooming's professionalism is unspeakably outstanding! I have never noticed a single scratch or any minor injury on my pup after a grooming session, which is a testament to their incredible professionalism and attention to detail. What stands out even more is how my pup reacts--he doesn't show fear or anxiety like he did at other places. Sure, he gets a bit upset for about 10 seconds, but then he happily runs into Iryna's lap! I've been to other grooming salons where I had serious issues: they'd drop him, treat him poorly, or stick him in a crate. But there's never been any sign of that kind of treatment at Pet City Grooming. It's clear they genuinely care about the well-being of the animals in their care, and that level of professionalism is why I trust them completely. THE SALON The salon is absolutely stunning! The space is not only beautiful but incredibly functional as well. It's spacious and thoughtfully designed, with different rooms for various purposes. There's a shower (washing) room, a drying room, a separate grooming area for cats, and a dedicated grooming room for dogs with four stations. Everything feels brand new, freshly renovated, and you can really sense the passion and heart that went into creating this space. Another critical point is the spotless cleanliness, which is vital for a grooming salon. They take pride in maintaining a professional, hygienic environment. Every detail has been carefully considered, and it indeed shows. SUMMING UP I believe this is an outstanding place, and it's clear that the salon exists not for money but out of a deep love for animals and a genuine desire to make them look their best--like little models! The financial side feels secondary to the care and attention they give each pet. No matter which groomer you get, you can rest assured your pet will be pampered and treated with the utmost care. They truly go above and beyond, and there's no doubt your pet will be happy and well-groomed every time! And a bonus to it: you might get the cutest before/after photo

DO NOT BOARD YOUR PET HERE. UNTREATED INJURIES AND MEDICAL NEGLECT…read more I boarded my dog, Bugsy, at Brooklyn Unleashed for 10 days (April 8-20). I returned to find him in a horrific state: multiple bite wounds and punctures on his ears and muzzle, and a severe, painful UTI that was left completely untreated. The most disturbing part is the medical evidence. I took him to the vet immediately, and the clinical report confirmed that the lacerations were in an active healing stage and already over 48 hours old at the time of pickup. This means the owner, Andrey Tevlin, and his staff watched my dog suffer with visible head injuries and a painful infection for days and NEVER NOTIFIED ME, despite their contract stating they would contact owners for medical situations. My dog is now straining to urinate and requires over $2,800 in emergency medical care and X-rays because they failed to provide basic supervision or the "Duty of Care" they were paid for. Andrey has gone silent and refused to take responsibility for the neglect that happened under his watch. I have already filed formal reports with the NYC Department of Health, the ASPCA, and am pursuing legal action in Small Claims Court. Save yourself the heartbreak and your pet the pain--go anywhere else. This facility is unsafe, and the management is completely unresponsive to animal emergencies

My dog studied hard for the next few days LOL and we arrived at 4 with all the veterinarian papers. I was greeted by the VERY NASTY OWNER NAMED ANDRÉ!!! The way he greeted me was the biggest red flag, as this made me wonder if everyone acts like him in this place and why would I want to leave my precious Hope with a person like this. He also told me the vet papers were not good enough, told me my appointment was for 2:00 (but it wasn't), and looked at my pup with such suspicion as if she was going to do something wrong!
